Looks like another case of a Liberal Prime Minister getting the Governor General to do his dirty work

From all the comments it seems we've had enough of the Libs for now. We'll just have to see what Labour can come up with considering they have been given the great debt that Scomo racked up for them.

i don't care, we have bigger problems than that, with that no golf playing big mouthed ex president and all his little minions trying to destroy democracy, not that it's all that democratic,, just the rich guys playhouse

It's just a distraction. Labour needs to start concentrating on running the country, getting inflation under control, fixing the hospitals. Scomo will fall on his own sword. Get the country back on track!

I think so. He has bought a new brand of arrogance to politics. Gorvernments should be totally open and accountable - transparent. And if ever I find out who is selling off our ports and airports, water and housing to foreign ownership, I will plaster their names all over a "Shame File".

NO, Scott Morrison should not be sacked. Labour is only trying to get popularity. Start and focus on more issues lik INFLATION and power bills SAD TO SEE LABOUR IS FIGHTING TO MAINTAIN POWER.

It's Labor there is no "U" in it. Your credibility suffers.

WE are Australians. NOT AMERICANS. THERE IS "U" in labour. Check all the other people's spellings. Who suffers?????????

If there was any justice he'd be kicked out on his arse without any of the privileges given to ex Pm's. There should be a full investigation into the whole matter and to whether the GG's role had anything to do with the 18 MILLION dollars awarded to the non existent charity ( at the time it had no offices, no staff, no website and was not even registered as a charity) to which he is associated. The whole matter stinks to high heaven, His justifications make no sense whatsoever. There is more to this matter and the public have a right to know the truth.

Their going to look into the timing of these 'secret ministry's'. We are now hearing that he started to set it up 4 days after he became PM, which was well before the pandemic struck.

Nah…. He shouldn’t get the privilege of resigning. Him and his mate the GG should be shackled and chucked into Long Bay. They will be very popular there.

No Scott Morrison shouldn't resign, when I think what other people have done in government it is just a trifle. I think he did a very job during the worst of the pandemic, and I am very surprised he did not win the election.

Hopefully there's more (a lot more) truth to come out. So far, up to this point, he was only the worst Prime Minister Australia has ever had. When the truth finally comes out they will be speaking about him for the next 200 years, and it won't be kind ! I hope he gets what he deserves.

both he and the Governor general should go...now...no handshakes, no free cash, just be kicked out and feel lucky that no-one puts them both in jail... what was the reason we should not become a republic?...I forget....we don't look very safe under the Royal Family's control....do we?... time for some new currency, get rid of the Union Flag in the corner of ours and some nice new passports perhaps.....

But he had a mandate from God to protect us all from whatever he decided was evil… Divine justification, nothing less, to do and say whatever he likes.. How can that be considered dirty work, when in his eyes he was just doing the work of God..How come nobody is raising questions about the $600k of taxpayers money he gave to Hillsong pastors under the COVID job keeper’s scheme…? Is this another smelly secret he is trying to hide…?

the Labor Party are working through so many #LNPfail that the list keeps growing... bit by bit over the next 12-18 months it will be unravelled.. and legislation for ICAC will be tabled soon. (active ALP member here)
