I do the dishes by hand after tea. i do have a dishwasher but will not use it before Off peak at 9pm which is far too late to do the dishes anyway.

I dislike children using my name. Children are not adults and not equal. I also dislike people I don't know using my name, but some people still have enough manners to ask if you mind, in which case I don't. I like to see most things first, try on the clothes / shoes, etc. The only thing I really order online are books and printer ink, because neither item I want is usually available in regular shops. The problem with most shopping malls is that the greedy mall owner charges huge rent to the shops, who then in turn have to charge the customer more. Plus many of the shops in the malls tend to be the expensive stores, rather than places most normal people buy things from - the exception in New Zealand is usually The Warehouse and Kmart. With the government now adding import duty to *everything* (used to only be parcels valued at over NZ$1000), fewer thing might be bought online from overseas ... although, it's still cheaper to buy things from overseas, even with duty and shipping, than it is to buy the exact same item in a New Zealand shop thanks to greed all along the supply chain!
