Appetite and hunger can both be triggered by many things that include sight, smell, and changes in the digestive system. However, your appetite can be influenced by things like boredom or undefined thirst that may lead to creative thoughts. What do you reckon? Is it better to ignore cravings or to eat in moderation?
Jude21
Everything in moderation is good. Sometimes we crave certain foods because our bodies need some nutrients that they contain .

Humans have been dumping thousands of tons of space junk in orbit around the Earth since the 1960s....nobody cared much until it started getting busy up there...hitting the hundreds of nice new shiny satellites or spaceships in orbit...the answer seems to be to use private companies to send up satellites and push all the garbage back at the Earth...so it all burns up on re-entry...aside from the extra damage this pollution this will do in our atmosphere...what happens if several...

I have recently heard of something like debt recycling. If you then borrow the same amount and invest it, you're essentially replacing the inefficient debt with a debt that is tax-deductible and could potentially generate wealth. What are your thoughts? How to get out of debt and get rich?
DruidsTree76
First thing , to become rich is to put some of one's own income away ( save it) also known as the long way.
Second thing , borrowing someone else's money is a quick way of becoming in debt, once you are in debt , in is near impossible to become rich.
Borrowing more money, and investing it, is no guarantee of getting out of the original debt , and becoming rich. It may end up worse off and owing more debt.
Remember this simple philosophy : If one can keep a roof over one's head ( rent/ mortgage), pay one's utilities ( electricity/ gas/ phone/ water etc) ,if one can feed and clothe one's self, then one is rich!
Thankyou for listening to my Ted talk.

MedsCheck is a government program. For reviewing customer's medication to ensure individuals are informed about their prescription and taking the right combination of medicine. This service is performed by the pharmacies to the public and it's free. But the Canadian health Ministry reimburses pharmacies up to $75 per call. These days, people are so impatient, especially on the roads. Who cares if it takes you a few extra minutes to get where ever you need to be. Is it really important to save those few minutes, as I don't? There is no reason that anyone can't wait for a minute. In my opinion. Isn't safety weighs more than running? These people who cause road rage, they do not stop to think that their reactions can cause a major accident. Is this what they want? Any driver on their own or...

In some cases, though, a relationship might not have the potential to be rekindled. In these instances, it can be healthier for each partner to focus on themselves and move on. A lost love may return, but only if both partners are ready and willing for that love to return and the relationship to continue. What are your thoughts? Can lost love ever come back?
Susan KTC
We all have individual lessons to learn in our life journey and sometimes it just isn’t the right time for a relationship, and as noted by several of you, love can be rekindled. My circumstances were different, I found my life time partner in my early 50’s, after several learning lesson experiences and two children, once those relationships ended, there was no going back!

I used to look forward to using some of the news sites on Rewardia but they haven't changed in a long time. ABC News, National Geographic and Science hasn't changed at all. Why have they taken blue surveys away? It takes so long to make enough points to make it worthwhile using Rewardia now days.
Poppett
I love how they offer you a reward or offer to earn 100points if you do surveys that amount to over 1000 points and then make it as hard as hell to get any surveys at all, bit of a scam really, hope you read these discussions Rewardia!!
30-Jun-23
Dear Rewardia. It would be extremely nice if I wasn't getting screened out of nearly all surveys. I am genuinely trying to earn points and it feels like I am being blocked from doing so. It is NOT good enough and it is NOT acceptable. Please fix this
PatCat
It depends on things such as, are you working, do you have children under 18, how old are you? It never seems to be a realization that of those who do these surveys, many are at home due to health or age and therefore we can't answer the questions asked.

Product comparisons such as the latest iPhone vs Samsung vs Sony etc. Cartoons and children's shows. Watch stand-up comedians, movies and TV shows, and sporting events.

Food is food, everyone can agree with that. But what kind of things will you be disposed to eat? Will you eat bugs? Personally, depend on the bug, I will be willing to try it while travel. But will you eat any kind of mammal animal, or just the ones that are considered eatables? For example, dog is eatable in some places in Asia, but the most of the people wouldn't eat it. Would you eat rabbit or horse? Maybe those are more funny to hear, but in some parts of Spain...
PatCat
As a child I was horrified to be told that our dogs were being fed horse flesh. Rabbits were the main protein food of many working class people during the Great Depression and on holidays as child I often hunted with my father for a "bunny" for dinner when we camped on a dairy farmer's property. Depending on circumstance and how desperately hungry I was I might try anything that looked like food from whatever source if that need arose.

I've been a social smoker for 3 years now and tried to go cold turkey for the last 2 months but finding it difficult. Thinking maybe switching to a vape would help. Who has experiences with using a vape? Is it worth it ?
Rosemary E 383382
Put the money you would spend smoking into a locked container. Given the price of them the money will soon amount to enough to buy something you need or maybe reward yourself with a weekend holiday or one of your "dreams". You may have to cut back over a few days or couple of weeks. You may need encouragement from your family and close friends.

I don't know how people could afford to pay their insurance and a co-pay. The insurance is so high and plus paying out of pocket is not helping people with different types of medical history. I don't know how it's at your area where you're resident but at ours house's price increased 30% over the last 5 years, and it's estimated it's not gonna decline any time soon. Really good for us to sell you our house as we gonna make those 30% + profit, however I can see how people are struggling and buying houses 3bedroom one bath for over $1m, and it's fixer upper!! I don't see that fair at all. I am worried how my son would be ever able to afford living one day....
Andrew C 287196
House prices rise, but so do wages (and everything else). Many of the people who complain they can't afford a house are wasting piles of money on restaurant dining, overseas holidays, continually updating their tech gadgets and cars, TV subscriptions, etc. In ye olde days people actually saved money for a deposit and they made sacrifices to pay off the mortgage (and the mortgage was often for a lot longer than the 30 years people expect to pay it off now). Nothing has really changed, other than the attitude of people.
Having said that, prices are also artificially raised due to the greedy "investors" (local and non-resident) who buy multiple houses to rent out and/or do up and "flip" at a profit. If it had been illegal to own more than the one house you actually live in, house prices would be a lot lower.

I am getting sick and tired of companies just using chatbots on both phone (if you can get a number) and computers. You have trouble explaining to them the problem, and then you have to wait for ages for a real person to get back to you. If ever. What do you think of them?

In the 21st century, do we really need fireworks to be purchased and used individually anymore? Isn't it time we woke up to the fact that these toys are very expensive, very fleeting, very dangerous and are best handled by experts who know very well how to put on a magnificent fireworks display in a safe and controlled environment?

Should someone who calls dcf and make false statements on someone over and over again be arrested for making false statements
Uncle Peep (Robert F)
Yeah, or at least a fine. The problem is that the courts don't want to punish people for making those calls, because they don't want people to be afraid of making the calls... they'd rather err on the side of caution. If you know who's making the calls, however, you might be able to sue for harassment. I've seen it done successfully on Judge Judy.

Did you know in 2021 an italian ''artist'' sold an invisible statue for 15,000 euros? As you heard. The piece was literally a square of american tape stuck in the floor to remark the place where the statue was. But this is not the first time that this man did this. And he is planning to put seven invisible statues of his own all around the world cities. What do you think about this? Is this art? Is art really just a concept? You can sell a concept? I'm 60 this year. At work they call me "The Jedi. Not because I'm the oldest, which I am, but because I live in their words "the old ways." I don't own a smart phone, smart TV, 3-D printer or any of the other 100 things that this current generation thinks of as essential. I don't even own a credit card. I cut it up 20+ years ago when using it became too easy. I own my own house, plus an investment property, car, 2 investment Supers and $$$$ just sitting in my bank for an emergency. My co-workers are in their 30's to 40's and are in debt up to their eyeballs, living from payday to payday. They have all the latest gadgets but no real wealth at all. When I tell them this they just laugh at me. I had already owned my 1st home when I was their age. This generation is so hung up on the latest stuff and living "Now" on credit that by the time they retire they will still be renting. So yes, I don't like the future and technology. I am a Jedi/lol. But I'll tell you one thing...I'm happy that I'm the way I am. I'm worried about the current generation and their fixation on technology. All these easy options are keeping them poor and they can't see it cause everyone they know is doing the same thing. And they look at someone like me...laugh, and call me old.

One in 25 Australian adults will be estranged from their family at some point. It s a difficult, often-hidden experience that can elicit many emotions: shame, heartache, even happiness. Do you happen to know any such cases? Under what circumstances do you reckon reconciliation might be possible?
BLM
I deliberately did not live up to the expectations my parents 'had' for me in life (since it was my life - not theirs) - which led to physical abuse. My parents got divorce - remarry other people and had more kids - which led to me being the odd kid OUT ( I know - Life is not FAIR - LOL). I became a runaway at 13 years old (when I finished the eighth grade in the USA). I will be estranged from my family this coming June (2024) - it will be 65 years (pain free - emotionally, mentally, physically, and psychologically) - let the good times (estrangement) - roll forever or least till I DIE! Estrangement from my family has elicited 'HAPPINESS AND JOY' - anyway - for me! In my case - reconciliation is N(EVER) going to happen (under any circumstances)!

I don t play any gaming on the internet Except for games on Rewardia. I got two accounts on my bank statement for $99.50 they were subscriptions to Gaming sites My banking online has now been shut down and my debit card destroyed while they investigate. I really don t feel safe. Now very time I m online Is this going to be a regular problem ? Or will someone come up with a solution?
BLM
Scammers are white-collar-criminals. White-collar-criminals ARE NOT severely punished as blue-collar-criminals in the USA (where I reside)! Are scammers going to be a regular problem going forward - YES (there are numerous ways to get anyone personal data)! The only person who can make it more difficult - for scammers to steal your money - is you. I do not use credit cards or my bank's debit card to pay bills online or offline. I do not use my bank's checks (since your account number and routing number is at the bottom of the checks - which is all the info a scammer needs to hack your bank account). I pay all my bills by USPS's money orders which are expensive - but they come with two receipts. I use cash for daily purchases. My credit score sucks - because I don't have any debt - but I have never been scammed/hacked (it
is a constant juggling act to keep your monetary info security). Furthermore, I have a landline phone with twenty-first century technology but does not have an internet connection - my landline phone cannot be hacked! Other words, you have to make your digital footprints as small as possible - so a scammer will not (hopeful) notice your digital footprints online or offline.

A multi-storey car park in New York has recently collapsed...they generally don't do that...and a report in the UK advises that the weight bearing capacities of our car parks needs to be substantially revised....most cars have become a lot heavier over the last 30 years...and all the new electric models weigh at least 30% more...often double or more...many current carparks were never designed to take this kind of weight when full.....scary stuff?...
Bugalugs
Just what is this obsession people have with buying these huge, heavy vehicles? vehicles designed for Off-Road use are being bought but never do morwe than take the children to and from school, do the weekly shopping. General Motors released a Monster Vehicle called RAM, a vehicle which dwarfs all others, designed for heavy Duty Work but like the smaller, but still massively heavy and big, are never used for Work but also to take the chhildren to and from school and go to the Supermarket. Not only do they tear up the roads but they eat fuel and, in Australia where they are being dumped because other countries are banning their sale they pump out more emissions than any others. I was in a Supermarket car park the other day and one of these monster vehicles took up Two parking spaces.
Do people buy these tanks because they have such low self-esteem they make them feel bigger and better than everyone else?
Governments should ban their sale becuaes, for the most part, they are totally unnecessary.

Everyone is complaining that the cost of power is increasing, and they want us to switch to all electric, cars, home heat etc. Where is the infrastructure for all the demand? They say, cut your consumption, we will help you save money... however the price is increasing even if you are using less. These companies never do anything for the little guy. They still have to pay their CEO the big salary. What do you think?

Sorry this has nothing to do with power bills but I am so livid right now. I honest hope the bleeding hearts are happy with them selves. I hardly watch the news because it's all doom and gloom. Last nights head line was 70 y/o woman was stabbed in front of her 6 y/o granddaughter in Northern Brisbane shopping centre. The thugs wanted and stole her car, she obviously put up a little bit of a fight so they stabbed her to death. I honestly hope the family sues the government and the immigration department for allowing these criminals into Australia. Do you feel safe here any more? I certainly don't and why because it keeps happening time and time again. Wake up and stop allowing people like that here. We live in a Country where Melanoma is rife and yet to get a mole map done is so expensive. Yes it can save your life, no one disagrees I am sure about that, but surely as you can get a mammogram done for free under the age of 70 would a mole map not be something that could benefit every age and sex identity? It seems of late that all we hear is how we should eat plant foods and not meat or dairy products etc. Almond milk is not as nutritious as cows milk and should not be given the children? It is also produced with pesticides and heaps of water to grow them. I was watching a cooking show last week and the vegan chef said h I also feel that a acre of plant food will give the grower more money they a cow or sheep would over a year. However, if the environmentalists...
Bugalugs
What I don't like, in fact I loathe, about Vegans and Vegetarians is thet they adopt the attitude that they are so much better than everyone else. yet these are the same people who want all their "Flesh" replacement meals to taste just like the Beef, Chickem Lamb, Turkey, Pork, Salmon, Barramundi, Herrings etc. they used to eat before they became so much better, more Environmentally Conscious and overall Much Superior Citizens than the rest of us.
The next time you are in the Supermarket have a good, close look at the Ingredients Label on all this Vegetarian, Vegan food. You will be surprised, very possibly, and justifiably, shocked at the amount of Laboratory-produced "Nature Identical" Flavours, Colours, the amount of Sodium, NaCl, and other Artificial Chemicals which are used to make those Meat Free Sausages, Mince, Steaks etc. taste just like the real thing!
It is a bit like those people who say they have stopped using sugar, the Cane or Beet variety and have switched to No Calorie, No Fat Artificlal Sweeteners all sold under trade names but which are, in truth, produced in laborarories and some of the ingredients have been shown, no, Proven to be Carcinogenic!
You don't have to adopt any of these extremist fads such as Veganism, if you want to reduce the amount of Meats you eat, just do so and increase your Vegetables including Potatoes!
For the extremists they all seem to think they are better than everyone else, they are so arrogant, so smug, they really have no idea what problems they are setting up fopr themselves after eating all that Artificial rubbish. They won't eat Cheese, drink Milk, eat Eggs and try to imply that this is contributing to cutting down on Animal Cruelty. Garbage, utter garbage because the Cows will still be producing milk, chickens still laying infertile eggs and they do it al Naturally.

When you click on a survey in the survey centre, it opens in a new tab of your browser. From that point onward, we don't know, and we do not control what this survey is about or its contents. This type of survey, where the provider asks users to join them, is called 'recruiting,' and it goes against the rules. We constantly fight against such practices, but unfortunately, providers still engage in them. We are trying to stop it. Our apologies for the inconvenience, Chosen

A friend sent me a video about the wolves in Yellowstone National Park, Brilliant and as they replaced the wolves and kept the deer down, the plants started to come back. It's amazing and I wish I could share it with you. Look it up it is worth while watching. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did and it really is an eye opener that yes we can do things to get plants and animals back. Fracking has a lot to answer for and it is some thing that really should be banned. As well as all the others mentioned above and we really need to make sure all companies put the land back to the way it was. We live on a hill and we have the only trees around as it is all grazing and farming crops around us. We are proud of our trees and have added a few more with hopefully others to come in the not too distant future. Plus we would like to grow some food trees but not having much luck in that department, not a very good gardener but learning a lot which is really essential when wanting to grow things.

Are we becoming too negative and not seeing the positives in our lives or our society? Consequently, people are unhappy (even angry) and intolerant of others. Symptomatic of this are those with fixed positions on issues who aggressively condemn those with a different view, or who seek to tear down our society and our fundamental values. Shouldn t we try to adopt a more positive outlook and be more tolerant of others; to engage in discussion instead of abuse? Is social media a...

Most would say that money makes life more bearable, especially if that means without it there's no home, no love and probably, no food!

More & more these days with huge rises to everyone with bills & our every day cost of living, hardly anyone can survive any more. It has forced many families for both parents to work to meet our daily expenses. On top of this, many families also have extra expenses on Babies & Children with all of their needs. One income doesn't do it any more unless both parents are CEO of a company, which is rare. That leaves parents with children to seek a nanny/babysitter. Not an...

I'm 57. Both my parents worked. Neither had CEO wages. I went to pre school as soon as I was old enough. My grandparents didn't babysit because they lived too far away. I'm tired of people whining about lack of money. If you get your priorities right there's no reason why you can't live and save on two incomes. It's been done for decades. Society today spends too much on new cars, TV subscriptions, mobile phones. Inet plans, tatoos and false nails! To name a few! Learn the difference between wants and needs!

Ok, so today I heard the story about the 50 year old man who, because he identifies as a 15 year old girl, has been accepted with open arms into a swimming team of girls aged between 13 and 15. And...as if that's not insane enough, this 50 year old man (fully equipped with 50 year old man bits and functioning eyes) is changing in the same change room as his fellow swimmers. So I ask the question...would you be happy to let your young daughter swim and change...

Has anyone here lost young loved ones lately? Anyone know people who have died suddenly? These two words pop up daily (and several times daily) of late and that's just celebrities or sports people. Wondering what people's thoughts or experiences are here. I sure have my own opinions, but would like to hear others.

The old cliche is: The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer! Australia is one of the richest nations in the world. Our percentage of Millionaires is --- growing. Our percentage of poor are also --- growing. Do you believe we should tax the wealthy more, to help the poor? How do we narrow the gap?

OMG!! There it is cultural Marxist socialism , the path to communism.
A fast track to Universal basic income and being worker drones for the government with no freedoms and work for your government housing and food rations, A world where everyone is equally miserable.
The way to kill off any incentive to work hard for yourself and be successful.
All we need to do is get rid of corrupt politicians and STOP the insanity of the 2 party preferential voting for government.

It was lovely to see the West Indies beat us in a test. The young Joseph was brilliant and they were just so thrilled. It will bring a lot more interest back to the game as just having India, Australia and England as competitors was getting a bit ho hum and seeing how some of the people in these teams carry on was off putting. However, to see the joy and happiness in the West Indies team from the players to the staff was just uplifting. I hope they continue...

Local bylaws say no bikes or skateboards...my own street says 5ks and hour all of that is ignored. Down in the park there is one small sign says "dogs on leads"....also ignored...the same with odd parking rules...nobody wants it...nobody obeys it...nobody enforces it...so what is the point?...someone is getting paid to do this...what is going on?

And the sign said
"Long-haired freaky people
Need not apply"
So I tucked my hair up under my hat
And I went in to ask him why
He said, "You look like a fine upstandin' young man
I think you'll do"
So I took off my hat and said, "Imagine that

I know many of you cannot stand the commercialism of VD, but that aside, is it really that bad? I am a big romantic, and so is my man..... I always get flowers sent to me at work, & I feel so honoured that he loves and cares for my feelings on this special romantic day, where he wants to show the world he loves me & that I'm precious to him. Yes, I do feel for those that are single. But real love is very special & I think we should be able to have it celebrated? ...

Are the younger generations losing a lot of the jobs skills we used to have? I know the world is changing and becoming more tech-savvy. But we seem to be losing a lot of the skills that Baby Boomers used to have.
Susan 1441337
I think most of the jobs that that our know senior generation did have either been taken over by technology or moved to another country because they have cheap labour. I also believe it reflects on the quality of goods we receive from other countries. In turn all these products are garbage and thrown into the dump and we wonder why we have no room left to dispose of things. I feel old saying this but things definitely aren't made the way they used to be. I feel like we need to bring these jobs back to our own countries and stop buying off shore garbage. My dad said this many years ago before he passed and he was so right but yet our government keeps letting this stuff come in I'm sure these other countries are lining the politicians pockets. There's no jobs here for people that may not have the smarts to do IT stuff. I feel like we need to go back to the way things used to be. There's so many homeless people or people living paycheck to paycheck and the government doesn't care as long as they are getting richer. This is a sad sad world we live in imo

Life happens, and we may have drifted apart over time, but occasionally, something may remind us of them, and we'll briefly wonder how they are. If you've lost touch with a friend, you're not alone. Most of us have various shoes/footware to match every event, season, taste and those moments. Yet, recently my podiatrist admitted that their office makes so much money from people who wear crocs and shoes that were never suited to the shape of their own feet nor their own walking patterns/gait. Having a pacifier on hand is very handy to have, or maybe not. I see & understand when a baby or a child needs one, but if you can even better if they are not used to it. In my opinion, I would never introduce this to any child or baby for many reasons. I was so lucky that my children never had it. I have received a message from my bank twice asking me if I had made a certain purchase on my credit card and both times it wasn't us. Somehow people have been able to get our credit card number but our beaut bank picked it up. The last one was a $4000 lunch. I contacted the restaurant asking them to report the fraud to the police but they said they were letting their bank handle it. I don't understand their attitude because if they didn't see the person ordering the food they must have delivered it, my bank stopped the purchase so why wouldn't they want to get their money back. This is why these crooks keep going, no-one wants the bother of reporting the crime to the police.

If you paid for an airplane ticket, and you were fortunate to get the window seat, would you be willing to trade for an aisle seat because someone who says they are very nervous and claustrophobic and having your window seat would help them....... (to be able to look out the window at the vast area outside). WOULD you be fine or not trading your seat with them? Remember, this flight is an eight-hour flight, so you will be stuck in the aisle seat for quite some...
lippy loo
I always take the aisle seat as I feel this is less claustrophobic than stuck in a corner albeit with a window to look out from. One has more leg room also and it is easier to get up and down from if one has to walk anywhere or do exercises. As for switching, no I wouldn't. You have been allotted a seat and that is where you should sit. If you want a particular seat then organise it pre flight.

Lately, if I am not director or CEO of a company, or I don't have own company, I am scanned out of surveys. I mean, be realistic - would really the owner of a company have time for online surveys? Or someone with income greater than 150k a year would spend time to do online surveys about groceries stores? I don't think so. That requirements of being even able to do some survey is almost impossible lately. What are your experiences?
Richard M 407933
Like a lot of others, I get screened out of countless surveys - certainly there are far more outs than acceptances. There is absolutely no doubt that the main reason I get the 'cold shoulder' is my age. I am 77.
Being rejected used to annoy me but I have come to accept that the so called marketing experts aren't interested in considered opinions from us older folk and believe that the world functions around the upwardly mobile with more money than sense. That's okay, they pay their money and get what they want but I wish they wouldn't waste everyone's time in this manner.

We all know when you're getting married, it does cost an arm & a leg. With the high rise of cost of living, people barely make the essentials in today's world. Every wedding has its special moments for any bride to be, but is it necessary for the bride to go over stream & be so much poshy & out of the ordinary flaunting money, without considering her bridal party if they can afford it or not. Supermarket Giant Carrefour ditched PepsiCo products in France, Italy, Spain and Belgium over price increases... Bugalugs
Sounds great but, in Australia, where we have 4 Large Supermarket chains, Aldi, Coles, Foodland IGA and Woolworths, the instant any of them, particularly Coles or Woolworths, they are both big but not as big as Foodland IGA and compared to the rest of the world minnows when compared to the likes of the 12,000 stroong Aldi shops, try to do anything the self-appointed Great Protectors of the Public, Australia's majority Foreign Owned Media and the Taxpayer Owned Australian Broadcasting Commission accuse them of bullying, of standover tactics. Coles and Woolworths simply cannot win, never mind that they are Australian, they employ 100s of 1000s of Australians and unlike German-owned Aldi they keep the money they make in Australia and pay their fair share of Australian Taxes.
We don't shop Aldi because of their dishonest advertising.

France will pay bonus to get their clothes and shoes repaired rather than throwing them away. The main idea is to cut down on the 700,000 tonnes of cloths thrown away by French people each year, two third of which end up in their landfills. I honestly believe that every city in the world should have a "Garage of Donations" (GOD) where everyone donates anything they don't use or want anymore, and where everyone who needs or wants those things should get them for FREE! Our Garage of Blessings is a recycle place where this is done. They run on donations, once a year sales to raise money, and volunteers who sort and put the items out in the building sorted by what it is. I have used and donated to them for almost 10 years. It saves people money, and saves the landfills. It won't cost anyone anything! RECYCLE, Please! ;-D

Why does this world need to use two types of calendars? In 1582 the Pope introduced the Gregorian Calendar, as the old calendar was incorrect by not having an allowance of a leap year & by 11 minutes in a year short fall. Sorry I meant score not points. i can score 600 points but only get 20 points. The scoreboard says people score over 2,000 ....wish I could

I only play it long enough to obtain points needed for the email bonus points. It's an easy game (just keep clearing sets of three in a line), but like most of the other Rewardia games, you'd need to be playing it for *days* or cheating to get on the high score table.

Do you think dark tourism is immoral or moral in your country's social norms? A dark tourist would be somebody that is from a country that shooting a gun is illegal. So they travel and go shoot a gun in a different country. A dark tourist destination would be a body farm. Last would be travelling to nuclear blast zones, towns that were evacuated during the bomb, and they never returned because of the high levels of radiation. In your comment, please state the country in which...

Dark tourism I have heard about is people paying huge sums to go to Africa and shoot big game that is fenced in on reserves. Where they have local guides and transport so they can chase down the animal. Lets get rid of their high powered rifle and give them a spear and have to chase the animal for miles until one or the other is exhausted, and have to fight to the death. Then they can skite how good a hunter they are!

Christmas is done, New Years has gone ... now some supermarkets here in New Zealand have already got the Easter Hot Cross Buns on the shelves. Better get in quick, there's "only" 86 days to go!! ??
Gesina 1315448
Yes I've seen them. They can put them out on the shelf, but you don't have to buy them. It all comes down to nothing else but money. The true meaning of Easter is not there. When are we ever going to get past profits and be more humane.

Seems to be an increase of homes with no lawn or garden, I like a bit of both, some people at work say neither for no maintenance, what would you like if you could have anything? (you still have to maintain it)
gordy
I also like a bit of both. Trouble is Councils are approving these cement properties because they make a lot of money in revenue. One house, one block, front and back garden with garage turns into 3-4 properties with just a garage and not enough room to "swing a cat" so to speak. I feel claustrophobic just thinking about it. No trees, no garden, no bees, no fauna or flora. We are destroying our planet and environment. So sad.

I feel that too much money leads to corruption which is rampant in our country (US). Perhaps if politicians had to retire at 65 or only serve a limited number of terms, they wouldn't be so wealthy and become corrupted over the years. What if they were paid minimum wage? Would we not have politicians at all, or would we have people who really want to make a difference without being rich and powerful?
JoeB
That’s daft, the minimum wage is far too much. Pay them the pension and see how they like it…..lol

Seeing it takes waaaay much longer to get to $50 than it has ever done . . . . Rewardia should also allow a $20 cashout to incentivize Rewardians.
allinyourhead
i cash out at 10, i have been on 2 sites that went belly up with my money, there is no advantage on unrewardia to wait for a cash out, you get a few pennies bonus if waiting for higher amounts,, not worth it,, JMHO,,,

Artificial intelligence (AI) is always portrayed as the Boogie man in movies and science fiction books... I think that WE are that boogie man!...AI can be used to advance bio-diversity...keep an eye on our fellow travellers on this planet and take care of them...help protect us all from the terrible natural disasters that are coming, fight fires, help in floods and disasters, help us think and concentrate on what is important....it can be a REALLY massive and useful...

I think everyone is very naive if they think IT will be the gift to humans. Why do we need it to do our housework or open doors or 1000's of other things we humans can do for ourselves. Yes it can be helpful in operations but controlled by humans just the same. SciFi is coming true as whatever man thinks of he will eventually create and giving AI the tools to teach themselves is a dangerous road to take.
I think scary times are ahead in the future with the scientists just going too far. It is already doing more than delivery of Pizza or cleaning etc. People are talking to them as if they are real live humans and some of these robots actually look very close to that.

I recently box trapped two beautiful cats, that were so starved. Now their hair is getting long, they are so very beautiful. Today they got gifts from Santa. They are enjoying playing with the toys, their treats, and the warmth from our wood stove.
...***...
Don't trap stray cats. Kill them if anything. I know this sounds harsh. but they are a pest to native birds etc in our country. trap and kill. do not trap and feed!!!! I'm horrified by your logic. We have now got open days here to kill all stray feral cats humanely.

I am a sporting fan and I am starting to feel as if we are being sold out by the sporting bodies as some of the major sports are having a foreign company as a major backer. I think most Australians prefer to buy and support Australian companies but are being mislead by some of this sponsorship e.g Alinta Energy 1005 Chinese owned and Australian Cricket
APB
Power companies should be made by law to state whether they are owned by foreign companies...Alinta...just like "energy australia" spend a lot of money hiding the fact that they are chinese and pretending to be "Aussie"...I hate that sort of thing..and we just allow it...sponor whatever you like...but just be honest of your origins....

This happens more often than not and happens more often in surveys. I just sat through a 1 hour survey (which the screener said was going to be a 20 minute survey) and at the end after watching the content, responding with the bar that you move up and down for how much you like it, answering all their questions (including lots of lengthy text based responses) AND their questions to prove you were actually paying attention...I got screened out at the end (where I was...

The most annoying one I've done was likely about 25 minutes long, it was for over 800 points; at the end it said wait while we give you your points and when the girl came on the screen with her hands in the air, it said Congratulations, You won 0 points. I wrote to Rewardia about missing points and they said I must've been disqualified right at the very end. Baaahhhhh... Nothing I could do about it.
