Chicken Curry
Ingredients
500 g chicken
2 tbsp oil
1 medium onion (chopped)
3 4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 inch ginger (minced)
1 tomato or 2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
½ 1 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
Salt to taste
1 cup water
Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions
1. Heat oil in a pot on medium heat.
2. Add onions and cook until soft and slightly golden.
3. Add garlic and ginger, cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
4. Add tomato, turmeric, cumin, coriander, chili powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
5. Add chicken pieces and mix well so they are coated with the spices.
6. Cook for 5 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7. Add 1 cup water, cover, and simmer for 15to 20 minutes until chicken is tender.
8. Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top and simmer 2 more minutes.
