1 cup butter softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 190°C
Prepare baking trays with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart,
Bake for 11 minutes
