Crispy Vegetable Fritters
Ingredients:
1 cup grated potatoes (you can also add onion or carrot)
1 cup gram flour
1 2 tbsp rice flour (for extra crispiness)
1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp red chili powder
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
Fresh coriander (optional)
Water (to make batter)
Oil (for frying)
Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix grated potatoes and all spices.
2. Add gram flour and rice flour.
3. Slowly add water to make a thick batter (not too runny).
4. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat.
5. Drop small portions of batter into hot oil.
6. Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
7. Remove and place on paper towel to absorb excess oil.
