| Homemade Wedges | ||
2lbs potatoes 4 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp Cornflour 1 tsp Paprika 1 tsp Garlic powder 1 tsp Oregano 1.5 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper Preheat Your Oven 20p°C and Prepare a Baking Sheet. Wash the potatoes under cold running water to remove any dirt. Pat the potatoes completely dry with a paper towel. cut the potato in half lengthwise, Place each half cut-side down and cut lengthwise again to create quarters. Finally, cut each quarter lengthwise one more time. Place the cut potato wedges in a large bowl and cover them with cold water. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes. drain the potatoes thoroughly and pat them completely dry with paper towels. Place back into the bowl and add all the seasonings, oil and Cornflour. Give a good mix with your hands and place onto Baking tray/bakingpaper. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes. Then turn the wedges over with tongs and bake another 15-20 minutes.
