Florida Key Lime Pie

1 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
1/3 cup of fresh lime juice
3 eggs separated
9" prebaked pie shell
(freeze shell so it won't overcook when the filling is baked)
1 cup whipped cream
sugar to taste
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Mix the condensed milk, lime juice, and beaten egg yolks.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into juice mixture.
Pour into the pie shell and bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
When cool, refrigerate until ready to serve.
Top with whipped cream, sweetened with sugar if desired.
Makes 6-8 servings.
