One Pot Delicious Creamy Beef Goulash Casserole

Beef casserole is such a great idea during winter or cooler months. This casserole recipe is easy and relatively cheap to make which is an added bonus! Your family will love this recipe. You can also easily substitute the ingredients you have got in your fridge to create your own version.
Ingredients:
1kg -1.3 kg Beef stewing steak
1 large onion (chopped)
1 packet of Maggi Beef Goulash
250g sour cream (optional)
250g baby spinach
500g portobello mushrooms (sliced)
3-4 stalks celery
2 Tbsp flour
2 cups Beef stock
1 cup of water
Salt and pepper to taste
Dash of oil
Method:
1) Diced beef stewing steak and brown them in oil. Add diced onion until soft.
2) Add flour. Mix thoroughly with meat and onion. Add beef stock and water. Pour in the Maggi packet mix. Stir carefully to combine everything together.
3) Bring it to boil, then simmer for 1.5 hours.
4) Lastly, add spinach and sliced mushrooms. Simmer for a further 30 minutes to ensure mushrooms are fully cooked.
5) I serve it on rice.
