| Grandma's Super Easy Beef Pot Roast | ||
This is my grandma's very easy Beef Roast. We have been using this recipe for more than a decade. It turns out great every single time. This recipe is definitely a winner! Ingredients: 700g - 1000g Beef roast 1 large onion 2 tsp crushed garlic 1 tsp thyme 1 tsp paprika 1 can beef stew soup (of your choice) 1 cup water 1.5 Tbsp tomato paste Salt and pepper to taste Dash of oil Method: 1) Fry beef roast on both sides till lightly brown. Transfer to a baking dish. 2) Coarsely chop onion, then fried in oil till golden and semi soft. Then transfer and put on top of the beef roast. 3) Open the beef stew can soup and dump content around the beef roast. Use a cup of water to rinse out the soup can, then add into the baking dish. This is going to turn to delicious gravy sauce. 4) Mix tomato paste, salt, pepper, paprika and thyme together in a small bowl. Spoon this onto the beef roast. 5) Use foil to cover the baking dish. Bake at 120 degrees for 2 hours. | ||
