| Crispy Onion & Potato Fritters | ||
Ingredients: 1 medium potato, grated 1 medium onion, thinly sliced 2 3 tbsp chopped cilantro 1 green chili chopped (optional) ½ cup gram flour (besan) ¼ tsp turmeric ½ tsp cumin seeds ½ 1 tsp chili powder Salt to taste A splash of water Oil for frying Instructions: 1. In a bowl, mix potato, onion, cilantro, chili, and spices. 2. Add gram flour and just enough water to make a thick batter that coats the vegetables. 3. Heat oil on medium. Drop small spoonfuls of batter into the oil. 4. Fry until golden and crispy on both sides (about 3 4 minutes). 5. Remove and place on paper towel to drain. 6. Serve hot with ketchup. | ||
