Homemade Sausage Rolls
4 sheets ready rolled puff pastry
1 tbsp milk
1 egg
1 kg mince
1 brown onion, finely chopped
1 medium carrot, coarsely grated
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1/4 cup (60ml) Worcestershire sauce.
If you are an Australian add a tablespoon of Vegemite.
For those with a seafood allergy, keep in mind that Worcestershire sauce comes from anchovies.

Mix milk and egg together, keep separate. Mix rest of ingredients together, lay out pastry, spoon ingredients in a line onto pastry and roll pastry up. Cut into pieces to suit your own needs.
Brush the roll with egg wash. Line up on a baking try leaving gaps between rolls. Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
It is that simple. Do not get too pedantic about sizes, they are to eat. Not to just look at.
I did not mention having a beer while making them but feel free to go for it.
