If you think about it, it's so much cheaper now to do your photos froma smartphone as there are no rolls of film or development costs involved.

The Pentax is a lovely camera, and can be set to take fabulous photos if you know what you are doing.

I totally agree, most younger generation wouldn't know how to use one!

My father had a Pentax which he used extensively while in Cyprus for 6 mnths with the NZ Police division of the UN in the mid sixties. My son now uses one in the photography component of his art course (he's the teacher)

My Nikon has been an amazing camera and I have taken thousands of photos and now we have an iPhone 13 and some of the photos I have taken with that have been pretty cool. Still learning how to use it though, It is fun I must say.

Phone cameras are great but I always transfer the photos onto my PC and decide if I want any printed. Still best to print them as photos on phones, PC's etc. will disappear and without a trace. You have then lost any memory you might want to keep.

Very rarely use my digital camera now, mostly just use my phone now.
