We do not celebrate Valentine's day. But we do hold hands, buy flowers, have picnics And go out for meals. OH and enjoy one another's company.

You can't beat a nice romantic picnic for two with Champagne, chocolates and the girl of your dreams. As for merricat, perhaps you should move "Downunder" as Feb down here is fantastic.!!

It is all about the mighty dollar - the same as Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, 1st cousins day, 2nd cousins day and ‘whatever anyone decides day’. Everything that meant something now means nothing.

Valentine’s Day is a big con. Buy flowers before or after the day and much cheaper.in the USA it’s big business and the people go crazy over it. Same as Easter time and eggs
