Should the Royal Family disown Harry as a spoilt brat
Comments

When are we, far from all this nonsense both in our own status and that of the royals going to get on with life and dismiss this latest hysteric press nonsense! Enough is enough!!

No, you should never disown family. Harry obviously has some serious issues with his family but airing everything in the public domain is not the way to work it all out. I think Megan has been made a scape goat in many of the issues whether because of being biracial, American, Divorced or whatever you wish to believe. Still, she also has said some very silly inane things. Megans family seem to be another issue who also do not seem to know when to just be quiet. I really do not want to hear all this tripe. Sort it out in private or just shut up.

I am waiting for one of the "family" to declare they are Gay and then see what happens.

I have met Dianna and Harry in 1994 at Kensington palace and I can ensure you Harry has never been the same since his mother death. He has vendetta against the media and the certain royal family members. It took some one like Megan to bring the true hatred side of Harry which he has keep inside of himself for many years. I do believe certain story Harry and Megan have said is true but they have made something small into a large story and have mislead of context of what certain people have said to them and blame favouritism or racist. When is this going to STOP as this has been going on for two years . This should have been discuss with Harry, Megan and the Royal family not the media, and now Megan family are in the process doing a documentary on their side of the story. Enough.

More impressive and certainly infinitely more praiseworthy would be if Harry renounced all of his titles, gave up all his inherited, unearned and undeserved wealth, renounced his UK citizenship and any possibility that he might ever get on the throne, took out US citizenship, stopped his eternal whining and whinging and then went out and got himself a Real Job.

YES! But without "the Royals INC." what else would we talk about? How on earth would the print industry survive? Perhaps, we could talk about The Bay City Rollers? Anyone remember them?

Blush yes!! even had my trou shortened and tartan hemmed- and went to their concert..when they came to NZ. We were twelve. My big sis was annoyed coz mum and dad wouldn't let her go see the Beatles when they came to NZ- she's 12 years older than me so by the time i came on the scene mum and dad were older and too tired to argue.

No I never saw them but I did see the Beatles when they came to Melbourne. My Dad bought us (3 daughters) the tickets. To be honest, was far from impressed.

The British paparazi have been demonstrating disturbing behaviour for years...shame they have barely been held to account...only when they tapped into the phone messages of a murdered girl and help screw up the investigation and then other high profile people had the same happen was there some kind of backlash...and then they just started up again under a new name... but I digress As for the "Royal's"I couldn't give a rats for any of them.Harry and Meghan included. Thankfully we don't pay for them, unless of course they come here for a visit as they have done from time to time ..hopefully not for some time. LIke 99.9% of people who comment I have no inside information so can only go on what we are 'allowed" to see from the outside. The British press and the Royals helped to destroy his mother's life, so I have no real concern for them. I can understand why he wants to protect his wife & children from the likes of that lot. Murdoch lap dogs like Piers Morgan who only turned on Meghan because he never got to f*ck her as he thought he was entitled to, just because he met her once in a pub when she first came to England...she went on to meet Harry.. Ideally it may have been better for Harry to just cut ties completely with his awful, toxic family, but I guess when certain members are in bed with the vile press & actively feed stories to a third party about your partner, most people are going to fight back in some way. Daddy and step mum have a history of lying, having waged an aldulterous affair for years before being forced to admit it. Step mummy is particularly close to the toxic Murdoch press, who have relentlessly criticised Meghan even for things they praised Kate for doing. Meghan's mistake at the beginning was being a of mixed race, divorced, American and not being the waif like white shrinking violet the Murdoch press expects. I expect like most families there is fault on both sides, as well as shitty communication and conflict resolution skills..but in the end I can't blame Harry for protecting his family nor for wanting to get their story out since the Royals have Murdoch to bat for them. The only bit that is a bit sad to me is the split between the brothers. Sad to not have that sibling relationship. I still have that image of the 2 young boys walking with their mother's coffin.

You put it very well. I do think they have been crucified in the Press and Piers Morgan is vitriolic in his attitudes and hate of the pair. He never misses a chance to spew forth vile comments. Having said that, yes sometimes you need to fight back against wrongs levelled at you but I also think Harry and Megan are not so innocent. I think it is time to stop with the back and forth they did we did comments and just get on with their separate lives. Perhaps down the track they can converse and perhaps find their way back together.

For someone who wanted to stay out of the public eye seems he needs the money 'He not spoilt he just desperate to justify his mistakes and choices at the end of the day the only person to blame is himself . Why air your greivences to the public to judge and give their opions do it in private go live a quiet life maybe Uncle Edward could give him some tips.Blood is thicker than water but live life without regrets and just remember the last thing you say to someone as we never know when those words could be the last ones we hear.

I agree about not airing everything but I think he felt like he had his back against the wall and felt he had to come out and defend them both albeit he has gone too far.

I think dad might be the spoilt brat, is he a king or a father, I mean if you think your kid is losing the plot go and knock on his door, and ask the question, king or not,

No. Seriously, Harry's bad behaviour could be the result of mental problems. He was raised in a pretty disfunctional family and had to deal with his parents divorce and his mothers death all before the age of 12. He also married a woman who some might say is a narcistic sheming manipulator. His family need to stay silent and not be drawn into the fray, just sit tight and wait for the moment he admits he needs help then step in and do what any parent would do for their child.

You have not considered the Brits themselves. Whenever we see 'the people' of Britain they seem pretty hot on holding on to the house of Windsor or whatever it becomes. These days what else have they got to go out and wave flags for, certainly not cricket! We colonials are showing them up a bit aren't we!

I thought all 'royals' were spoil brats. 'Royals' were responsible for WW1. What purpose do 'royals' serve (at this point in time)?

There were 6 causes of WW1, one being the assassination of Austria’s Archduke, Franz Ferdinand (the others are on the University of Noritch website and not royal related at all) Royalty brings millions of dollars to Britain through Tourism each year, although that has been reduced since Covid19 decimated the tourist trade and just about every country in the world has suffered.

The royal family is a waste of time money and a tradition that is long overdue for an overhaul. The money that the royal family command is obscene. There are millions of starving people all over the British empire that are poor sick starving and in need. Maybe some of that ill gotten wealth over the centuries is returned to the rightful owners you know the slaves of the empire. Harry has the balls to speak out. So speak out tell em what you think tell em the truth. And let's forget about this family once and for all. Anyone paid there power bill lately. ? Ask king Charles if he can loan me a fiver. Bob M don't really get me started on this rubbish.

The Royal family bring millions of dollars to Britain through tourism and the late queen was beloved by millions worldwide. All countries are suffering a downturn now and it is not caused by the Royal Family. We can blame Covid19, high demand for crude oil and low supply, conflict, climate shock and the threat of global recession.

Yes! He can't have it all ways. Not saying that he has not been damaged along the way, but he has now been caught out in fabrications / misinformation, says he has the desire to reconnect yet only if everything is kept private. Yet has shown absolutely no desire to keep anything at all private in order to sell his story. Where does it end? Nobody in the family will trust him now. How is he even still using titles? He wanted separation, he can't have the titles and then slam the family and give them no privacy. His oversharing is probably all he has to sell. Otherwise they just are not that interesting. That might change if they actually do something other than telling private stories - that would not sell if he was not a member of the Royal family.

The King needs to grow gonads...before he dies (there is little point in doing this afterwards)...strip all titles from the head dropkick Andrew...and the sad little Harry and his wife...no titles...no rights...and basically no nothing... that is what a REAL King would do....but we don't have one of those....The entire house of Windsor is under attack from within....he is weak and will fail in all of this totally...they will all stumble around until they are removed from power by the republicans..(wouldn't it be funny if Britain fired the Royal Family before Australia?)...or Charles has an unfortunate accident (MI5) or dies and a new king has more sense....reacts quickly and has much larger gonads ...stay tuned....I think Charles should stay away from driving around tunnels in Paris...

why call them evil and poisonous? Yes Diana died and some say murdered, but Dody's father spent millions on trying to prove it but couldn't. Charles had an affair with Camilla, but she was not suitable to marry and provide and heir for the throne, even she knew that. They took advantage of a young Diana but in the end it did not work out because Charle's love for Camilla was too strong. Would you like to be forced to stay in a loveless marriage? You can hardly blame him for wanting a divorce and anyway, Diana was better off without him.
