Seen an ad for reusable toilet rolls (cloths). $49 for 24. Would you use them. Also similar for dogs but more expensive. I guess its in line with cloth nappies many years ago. But not for me.

If they made recyclable food , we could get rid of overpriced supermarkets. Would you re eat that?

I use reusable and cheap washable cloth to clean my butt - that come in a package of fifty or more wash cloths for ten dollars - I have not used toilet paper in decades

Next someone will be selling eco friendly leaves you can use and throw outside when you're done :). They clean you and can be used as fertilizer, good for the garden.

you have to pay attention to where you unload outside, i mean you would have a problem if you were in a pine forest, i'll bet a pine cone would not make you smile gettin cleaned😇🤣

I believe you have done that, Allin! :) Good idea for a practical joke. Next time I have guests staying, I'll remove toilet paper and have a tray of pine cones next to the toilet.

I don't think a new catalog has come out since 1970 lol, so is this a reusable Sears Catalog? :)

no, but in my thc fueled state i couldn't think of another, help me out with this one, any kinds of catalogues out now😇🤣

            • Holly Catallin
Well they actually didn't stop making the Sears Catalog until 1993. I was curious and looked up who still has a catalog. Very few do, and the only one I think you might like is called Northern Tool.

you get to wash these things with your other clothes according to the ad, I remember the old twin tub days and cloth nappies I don't think I'd be washing these things with my fav Niel Young shirt , the two boys are polishers so I can only imagine how many of these things we would have, interesting concept, never heard of it

I remember having cloth nappies but the services would take them away to wash . Any clothes that had come into contact as the skinny little legs didn't always cover the edges properly would have to be soaked and hand rinsed ( gloves on!!) in napisan all before they hit my machine ! Such palaver ..then a few bad occasions in the middle of the night I remember just chucking little babysuits out ..ttoooo much 😁😳🤣

I remember when there were no huggies. Nappies were cloth and washed and reused. If you had twins it was washing every day. No thanks.

It's not new, but something old that has been brought back by the environmentalists (no doubt again claiming it as their own idea). Paper wasn't readily available until the 1800s and the first commercial toilet paper was sold in 1857 as packs of single sheets. Before that all sorts of things were used, including pieces of cloth.

they use these on dogs, and the amount of dog droppings on my lawn is unreal the people walking their dogs can't pick it up nether lone wiping their butts would provide some moments on tic toc i reckon

One way to break the cycle is to dig up that lawn and re seed it .. rope it off for a bit ... see what happens .lf they come back to reoffend whack up a sign and a little stand with the bags .We love dogs but not their poop .Please pick up after your pets! P.s smile for the camera!
