Can you really fall in love online ?
Liane H 04-Dec-22 08:01 pm
Is there more to anything physical sometimes?
Could it be a meeting of the minds or a connection you have found online that finds you more curious than you would like to be about someone you've never met?
Interested if this has ever happened to you or someone you know had even met up in reality ...

Well, I don't know about finding love online but I'm definitely in love being online, because let's be honest aren't we all in love being online rather than being in love.

does shaky pudding on top of a laptop on a desk constitute falling in love online?,, if so,, yes, hi Liane, yes it is i, the wandering vagabond on return,, but i been looking around, and it seems that you and Mary have been passing out mushrooms to all the participants in our club,, strange shyt going on, people's names changing, A has the covid, Brad has changed his name folks disappearing, well i did that twice, once rewardia's fault ,and the 2nd time was my fault,, so lemme know if i fell in love online or not, laptop was on, had internet connectin

it be 1:26 am here ma'am,, what about my online love affair, did it qualify me for love in the 3rd degree,, unfortunately it was to much for the laptop, it gave itself up so that we could prosper, i better not say no more as getting muted in my 1st 15 minutes back would suck,,, ;-))

perish the thought yes we must speak in hushed tones hahaha! Miss M is literally going to be squealing like a little pig in mud when she arrives. If u fall into a dreamy slumber all will be forgiven my dear ,understandable after your wild adventures. Plenty to catch up on to be sure ,in the coming days ,love is a crazy shaky pudding LOL

Indeed we must stoke up the fires and chill down some clinkable glassware ,for a grand feast is to prepared and Alice and her wild mushrooms will be soon sprinkling some magic dust about ....!!

God i could do with some dust to knock me unconscious and wake up when covid is gone. 4 residents and 4 staff have it..yellow caution taped up doorways- awful. Hubby has holed himself up in bed and only wants staff who have RATS tested. Is it bad where you are? Stop the madness- must get down the rabbit hole and do Wonderland instead yes yes.

Ha yes I had a wee roses feast yesterday and not the chocolates type either... A 3,000 pt survey then straight into a 1 minute one on a different colour for 350 pts then scored 4 blueys at 1000 each. 10 bucks for the day ! Fanciful plan ? Thought one quiet night in the bingo hall I could, u know .... .

I have seen several people get VERY BADLY hurt by this. I know it can happen but I say be very careful. People very often have an ulterior motive. You just have to be very very careful - AND NEVER BRING MONEY INTO IT.

Yes and its good because you get to know the person well before knowing what they look like so not letting looks get in the way if that makes sense.

Well, so far plenty of comments saying yes ! So interesting and I have always been so sceptical about all things social media , to be honest.Found out though, that even on rewardia here I have found some people I love chatting to as purely friends and when they go missing it gets a little disconcerting ! Never thought that would happen so let's see ...never know what else??

I first knew my now wife online in what was a chat room in those days. I lived in Perth and when there was a chat meet in Melbourne where about 20 people who had been chatting met up in Celtic club I attended. From there a few more chat meets followed and I met my wife at one of them. The rest is history.

awesome! ;) who knew ? They say it comes along when your are not looking for it. I have a friend currently who is on one of those dating sites who seems to be getting some dates out of it ,but not much else. I was more curious if it was more like in your case ,just general chatting and then something just made you sit up and take a bit of notice etc ,whether there was a photo or not etc ..

I don't get how you can fall in love online but if you can find it god bless you, I can only say, in the end, you will regret the chances you didn't take, love, is what we all strive to find all crap aside, love is like a riddle you keep trying to solve even though you know there is no possible answer,37 years I have been married the fact that I keep looking for answers might be the solution to my riddle, hope that makes sense ,but take care online there a lot of bad eggs out there a lot of good ones to i suppose but take care

I was a sceptic about this. I watched my next-door neighbor who got a real dickhead at her first try. He caused nothing but trouble for everybody even remotely connected to her. We all nodded sagely to each other. Then, on her 2nd try (about a year later), she ended up with a really nice fella and all is going well. So, you never know.

Yes people can and do fall in love online, which is why there are so many people exploiting this. Gotta be careful and know that the person you are interacting with is genuine.
                ·
                • Liane H
Hard to know genuine people sometimes in reality too I've found ;) But it does seem kinda odd to me that some typed words on a screen sometimes can mean so much to different people. Wierd and wonderful world of love hey?!

I know heaps of people that met their partners online and fell in love, some even got married.I do feel a lot of people should be still wary of hooking up with someone they are chatting to online via a dating site or social app because of all the creepy weirdos and sexual predators out there though.

Interesting that you know quite a few! And that it even worked out for them. I never really thought the concept would take off ,but clearly it can and does....Gotta do a background check before a meet n greet tho !

Yes I sure do and they are still together so it can work.Agree! because it's too easy to build a fake profile online and pretend to be someone else.Luckily their stories are all successful and they seem happy.
