So you create a scenario in your head where the bird must be homosexual as opposed to just happy and then blame it on political correctness ? What? Nobody cares or suggest it should or would be any different. Most people understand that words are capable of having more than one meaning.

True "Political Correctness" (such as treating people equally and courteously) is simple common sense. The problem is that "Political Correctness" is really a term used to cover appeasing all sorts of silly people who are complaining about ridiculous nonsense, usually to try to gain something for themselves at others' expense ... it has nothing to do with true "equality" or "diversity", and often simply ends up being reverse-racism / sexism. :o(

When I was 5 or 6...going through my education...in the hands of the English..they taught us that song...and they made us sing it and sing it (along with other songs that didn't seem to have any connection)...we stood up on stages and sang that song to clearly delighted parents....and not one of us had any idea what a Kookaburra ...or a gum tree...were...understanding what we were doing at school apparently wasn't important!

Eventually I think they will change our species name.... Homo sapiens will be regarded as not PC! I don't think I've ever thought about being PC on here or anywhere really.
