  Nice, haven't seen it before. I admit I've never been much of an Elvis fan, but I lived in Memphis for a few years and every time someone came to visit me, I had to take them to Graceland lol. I went to Graceland at least 5 times :) I still remember in one room there was shag carpet on the ceiling!

  It sounds like she had Irish folk musicians and most of Tom Waits band playing support..and they weren't always playing together..or even the same tune sometimes...and with her voice hovering over it all..it was just something unique.... a little chaotic...but beautiful ...lingering melodic punk anthem...a tough act to follow Edited 03-May-23 21:11pm

  Does anyone really think the music being pumped out today is going to have the same impact..in say 40 years time?...I think it is just a prepackaged, over engineered commodity...to make money...and that no-one on the other end really understands or appreciates music to the same level anymore its just background noise to a new fairly self obsessed generation of consumers

  music seems to change with the generations A, some folks continue on enjoying the new music, and add it to there collections, and some folks seem to get caught in a music generation/style or whatever, but then their music just go stale, listening to the same old same old,,, but it's just comes down to choice,i love music,, and all kinds, but that's just me,, carry on y'all 😄

  I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now..just came into my head- who's that? As i get older i am appreciating all the older music more. Look forward to being in a rockin' resthome with 70's and 80's music pumpin' out while we get our meds delivered by robots. I'm the same as Allin- love moosik from now, then and whenevs. 😊

  The true story tellers and pure vocalists are rare ,but they are still out there. It's just getting them recorded,circulated and played on air is half the battle. The industry is as you say filled with overproduced, autotuned, purely sugar hit money making ventures.

  haha what a pair we would be..actually i do drive carefully when i have passengers. Just go feral when alone. My car is such a mess with carrying stuff too and fro' to mr man- including boxes of beer and peaches n cream necessities. One of the residents at his place asked me recently if i was living in my car!!!!!

	Yes ,well everyone around here loves a dead person apparently... So thought we should celebrate the stars that burn so brightly and so fast ,then so sadly are taken from the limelight. However ,they leave their mark on our musical life journey and give us a memory in time . A fun reminder of our youth or a painful torturous scar of love lost .. whatever yours is u can put one here.. no squabbling! No politics or B.s :) ( Or if unable to post videos just name the song and the singer and someone may be able to find it )
