Dishonesty in survey invites.
Graham A30-Sep-24 09:54 am
Just wondering if others feel the same way I do with the dishonesty in the survey invites.
eg..survey invites 100 of Rewardias miserably cut back points for a 10 minute survey and when you get to the survey it states expected time of 20 minutes.
It annoys me no end!!!
The newest one is the survey invite that is now 2 surveys instead of one and you don't realise the one you are doing is a NON PAID survey until you finish it and are directed to the real underpaid survey!
It's just dishonest and bloody annoying to be treated like a fool and taken advantage of.

Really annoyed at the moment as I clicked on what was supposed to be a short survey and it took me to a long survey and I finished it, did not speed etc (how can you speed when it is 30ish minutes) and it asked me to rate the survey and I gave it a 1/10 and stated it was not fair that the compensation was so low for such a long survey (especially when it was supposed to be a short survey) and then it screened me out any way and I got 15 points and I wasted 30 minutes of my time

I have said before...don't do them. Some of the rewards offered for the surveys might work out to LESS than $1 per hour. They just play on peoples gullibility.

When the invite says "5 or 10 minutes" I expect the survey to be that long. I have closed surveys that I have become sick of before concluding them or if I suspect it will fail in some way (you start recognising the providers/survey that has screwed you over before).

Previously I have clicked on,go through the detail verification, and will either get 1 of three messages. 1. We have no surveys for you at this time, try later. 2. Searching for a survey for you,and I may have to repeat my details multiple times with other questions. 3. I am taken to the survey, sometimes i luck out and it's shorter than the initial survey time quoted, but mostly more. It's part of the process, and qualifying isn't guaranteed. What irks me is completing the survey with truth and accuracy, getting to the very end, submitting it and being told I am screened out. Surely the screening process is over way before I finish the survey. I sometimes wonder if some company's actually want our honest opinions.

It doesn't matter what time I get to a survey it is always closed or I am closed out almost as soon as I answer the ethnicity question.

A survey by a major financial institution...after pages and pages of questions about fraud.. final questions..."what else do you expect the bank to do in response to fraud"..."offer a full refund"......"it appears you have done this survey before"..and its bye bye and no points....so you don't want my opinions recorded??...Banks...what's not to love about them...eh?

I did that survey. Thankfully I got paid.
                • Janet H 854956
If they know you have done the survey before, WHY DO THEY SEND IT AGAIN? Grrrr!
              • Rod 1491371
It's how the system rolls. They probably deal with a lot of dishonest people too.

They do change a lot from what鈥檚 stated to clicking on the link. My biggest gripe with it would be getting right near the end of a survey and being screened out, screen out needs to be at the start.

The "two (or more) surveys" are often due to the the real survey being passed along a chain of web-survey companies, each making money along the chain. Usually it is qualification questions to see if you qualify to be passed on to the next / real survey. If you watch the address bar of the web browser, you'll often see it flick through various web-survey companies. A current fad (I can't remember which colour it is) seems to be Rewardia passing on to Prime Opinion, which then passes on to the real survey somewhere else.

Azure surveys. When it was re-directed, it was called Prime Surveys (but is identical to Prime Opinion).

They stress that you must be honest...one told me they were doing a survey about financial services...the first question was had I travelled overseas in the last 12 months...I said no and was disqualified...they can lie...but you cannot.... and good luck getting paid for any of them....

Nowadays this process is prevalent on rewardia, what makes it worse the admins instead of fixing the issue with the survey providers say they have nothing to do with it. Another thing I have noticed is that most surveys duration is more than 10 minutes and the reward (if you are lucky less than 30 cents) I started to skip surveys that do not reward panelist for fair time spent on them

I don't do any surveys over 5 minutes in length. Specifically because of this

It is very annoying, especially when they make such a big deal about us being honest with our answers.
                          • Terry 1550339
Graham A, when I get those I just write the number of the survey down and I turn it in to Rewardia and I just don't take them and it doesn't matter when I take them but if they are giving me BS Survey's I just don't do them.

. I agree about the two surveys instead of one thing, Graham. This is happening more frequently for me. I now mostly do the Green surveys, and even that can be a hit or miss.

Once this started happening to me on a daily basis, I quit doing surveys! The frustration just wasn't worth the pittance!! I'm only here for the games and entertaining interactions with my fellow unrewardians these days 鈽猴笍

I agree hate doing surveys 2 for 1 lot of points but that just hit a new low after completing a 20 minute survey about films i got no points and i can't dispute it because it not listed in my surveys so they got it totally free.I only do this for Christmas and i am beginning to think this is a bad idea.

Yes, agree. I also don't like when you get to the end of s survey and submit it and you're taken to a sign up /log-in page for another survey site and get no points.
