Again, I just read all the comments posted and I will now be answering any ?'s in a survey as yes. AS we are all aware, most surveys do not allow space to explain, and that some of us on this website do not follow FB, Twitter et al. There, I just said it!

Hi BLM, This is a great question. We post comments ,questions and ideas. Does this mean that we all use social media? I would say no. But then again? I don't know.

Too true. A worrying trend has emerged as well - numerous of the "surveys" that have arbitrarily kicked me off recently have questions that are so poorly worded, badly constructed, plain sloppy or ambiguous that honest answers are just impossible. So the dreaded "Al Go Rithm" misreads truth as contradiction &, wham! there you go! Is this fair or even professional?

Unlike like other users, I still consider myself a beginner as I am only 4 yrs into using social media. Since signing up I am quickly and definitely more active here. In saying all I am counting as social media at my satisfaction.

We have private rooms for private messaging via Google.... people's pictures can be put up via their avatars and now added to things like their recipes and discussions or polls . These can either be personal photographs or taken from another social media source like pinterest or facebook or instagram ..all of which constitutes copying and pasting / sharing posts / uploading from one social media site to another ! We can like or comment on eachother's forum posts in the chats otherwise known as a thread ... Keeping safe online here is still very much warranted as are the rules for using other social media sites. Yes we have limitations here ,but there is live chat in the bingo room and the ability to share video clips from media sites along with putting up with a multitude of annoying advertising , people's mad misinformation and some trolls even .. yep I would most definitely call this a social media website ;)Edited 17-Jul-25 10:33am

Not at all. It is a survey site...that just happens to have things to comment on. Social media is where people can private message one another and people are sharing photos, etc.

  ...this is a chat forum, sure. But it is not "social media"...there is no media here...no pics, no vids, no private messaging, etc. This is a survey site that has a chat forum. Old school...like back in the day BEFORE "social media" came.

  Private rooms for private messages. Can be a room for 2 or many. Same as social media. Agree it is limited but stll social media. Can copy and paste videos from youtube and probably other sites. I'm no tech but I'm sure tech-savvy can work out how to post private videos. Its only limited by each persons ability.

  You can post youtube videos. I've done it with music videos. Can be done on forum or bingo chat. My son has a youtube site and I have posted his videos on here. On music forums here many post videos of fav songs or artists.Edited 17-Jul-25 13:27pm

I think it counts technically as social media but the difference for me is, for the most part everyone here is nice. Those that aren't know who you are. lol!

Yes, I'd say so. If it was surveys only, it wouldn't be. However, we can post discussions and even from private groups. I've seen people post on here they don't use social media and have no interest, but comment on here quite a bit lol. I know they mean they're not on Facebook and the other sites, but this is the closest thing to it.

  that's me Lisa, I don't do all that social media crap, I get all the unsocial media from bongo, I don't need to go somewhere else to argue with the less intelligent, no more emojis to use in response, I thought they were saving money by no freaking surveys, now they won't let me make stupid faces at the end of a post,,,, ;-((

  I really haven't got the time to bother trying to dig out emojis from the depths of my computer menu bar keyboard options. It was far easier to simply have the pop-up panel in the edit box (although even that only worked when using the "View All Comments" option!). Similarly, carriage returns work weirdly here (have to press space then shift-enter), and again only in the "View All Comments" option. Then they often get screwed up if you edit the message. If this place is trying to be a "Social Media" website, it really needs to get far better forum software on the server.

  Social media is an app that can be used on a mobile device. YouTube, X, Insta, FB, etc. This is a survey site that allows for comments...when you do surveys, when they ask what social media do you use...is survey sites listed? No.

  I do think they should make a rewardia app though with how often I’m only on my phone on it cause rewardia is basically all I use my phone for off and on all day and make anywhere from 6,000 to 10,000 points a day Edited 17-Jul-25 21:53pm

  I saw on a forum board you use YouGov I like that lot too cause I’ve been using it the same amount of time I’ve been using rewardia if not longer and I’ve never screened out of a survey on there

  Yes, I know there aren't as many surveys on YouGov, but I like that they send you a survey, you complete it, get the points. It may take a while to cash out, but I don't mind.

  You should play match 3 crystals it’s not hard I just did level 16 and got 205 points from that one level and if you get stuck it shows you what to do I was shocked and right after I got 205 points from match 3 crystals I completed a ruby survey for 801 points Edited 17-Jul-25 23:03pm

  Where can we chat? Social media is used with apps, you sign up with, that you can private message, etc. This is a survey site where you can make comments...I own no phone, no social media. I do surveys on a desktop computer, lol. If you do surveys, do the surveys say "survey sites" when they ask what "social media" you use?! What media is on here? No vids, no clips, no pics. I would say this is a chat forum, sure, but it is not social media whatsoever.

  You don't have to use social media in an app. You can have a Facebook account and log in on a laptop, but you don't have to install the app on a cell phone. Also, I can share a public FB link with you and you'll be able to view it even if you don't have an account.Edited 17-Jul-25 21:07pm

	Sometime individuals (including me) forget what an opinion is at this website. Which translate into rewardia.com is social media at its worst (in the digital world/age)!
