Helpful hints regarding surveys............

I am to been online since 1987 surveys win and lose. I am not having much luck now since start of the year. Does not help when I banned on two survey providers. VPN are a big no. The sites know as that is partly why i got banned. VPN even though it was set to an AU server.

Lachrlle. I have been having an issue and idk how to resolve it. I kept getting disqualified or screened out of almost every survey I tried to take and couldn't figure out why. I started sending emails to support on all the platforms and one company answered and said my IP address is showing like out of the country when I'm only supposed to be in the US which gets me kicked for fishonesty. But I'm still n the same town I've been n for 15 yrs and have barely EVER left the state let alone country. It's still happening and idk what I can do to fix it. I'm not using a VPN or anything. Any suggestions?

  Surveys have dropped on all sites. One survey could be used on many sites, so once quota is met you will get screened out. In regards to your IP address issue, log out of your survey site(s) and clear your cache and cookies. Then log in again. And try not to use different devices (phone, tablet, desktop, laptop) for your survey site(s). Stick to one. Each device has a different IP address so it may be causing problems. And if you use different browsers they can cause issues too! Let me know how things work out. If these don't work, I'll have to rattle my brain more lol.

OMG forgot the most important one (I hope I'm not duplicating) 11. Cash out at every opportunity. If they allow $10, then cash it ASAP. This will save you much anguish if you have been saving up to $100 and then the survey site bans you for no good reason, or they just disappear overnight. 10. The survey ends successfully, and you are asked - for an extra 120 pts, will you answer some more questions, yes / no? Forget it. You will get the survey pts, but never the extra 120 pts.

9. If they ask, will you accept an app to be downloaded onto your device and they will monitor your PC habits - forget it - they are probably going to monitor your online banking habits.

Good info Lachelle - thanks for sharing. I don’t bother with Pollfish surveys (I saw someone call them stinkfish 😊) - they are never 5 minutes, have lots of errors, poorly written and I’m usually screened out. I send screenshots almost daily to Rewardia for things that have gone wrong.

  That was lovely Mary C. When it opens a new tab you know you are out. If you go back to the original tab it will show a sad fish therefore already saying you are screened out.

Thanks for the tips. I've given up trying turquoise surveys. An error message appears saying "this survey opened in another tab!" ... every time. Then an angry fish appears on screen looking as if I've committed a crime or something. Frustrating.

  NIce Diana, you can earn money as a word processor and have 95% correct spelling. Data entry is boring but pays well if you are good with the number keypad and are quick.

  If you are good with English (depends if you use American or English version) you can earn. I use British English as I am a Kiwi and earn about $25 an hour tax free and via paypal. I use headphones, they email me a conversation and I type it out and send back within the hour. I guess I'm a virtual secretary lol.

I'm also a veteran surveyor (2015), and agree with everything you're saying...except webcam surveys. I do them without any issues. They're higher paying than most, easy and fairly quick.

  Hello fellow Veteran, if you do webcam surveys make sure you delete everything (go to your recent places on your computer) the day you do them. What you are doing is allowing strangers access to your computer, and how do you know they have switched off after the survey? You don't.

So true Lachelle.. getting to the top of that damn 50,000 point mountain has got harder and harder. I have stopped doing anything that is for a lengthy time- like 20 mins for stupid laughable puny points. If i could get that 50 buckeroo's quicker somehow i would love it but it just ain't happening. Now if i could ever get to do Lime surveys daily i would be happy as a Whitebait ;))

  I've noticed a pattern with surveys, do a red, if denied ok, move to green, if denied ok. Then move onto blue and you will get at least two, easy 2,000. Edited 20-Apr-23 09:11am

  Hi Diana, in NZ Neilsen will pay you a few $ for scanning your weekly shopping barcodes. Haven’t signed up for that myself though. If you Google ways to earn from home, a few helpful articles come up that are worth a read.

  Just rubbernecking ms Lachelle re the data entry. Actually just saw on Seek that Stats NZ looking for a survey person for the Manawatu Region- not sure if FT or PT. Who offers the typing role?. I was interested in doing a Med Report typist (from home- as have med background) but the training costs were too high and no promise of work.

	1. If you start a survey and it moves to a new survey provider, shut it down, you will not get points. 2. If you spend more than 1 minute on 'pre-screening' shut it down. 3. If they are asking if you earn more than a million a year, shut it down, what millionaire will do a survey? 4. Do not give personal details such as full name, bank details, email address, phone number! 5. Do not click on links associated with surveys! 6. Webcam? No I wouldn't risk it, to upload their system so they can view you may mean they can control your computer. 7. You cannot earn a living on surveys! They are supplementary (extra you didn't have). But remember is your time worth the payout? Hope this helps, any questions, just ask. I'm a veteran surveyor!
