What policy wishes or policy changes do you want from Political Parties. What do you wish for from Government.

What we all want, but no one has stated here, is for government to do more to protect women and children, to end domestic violence and sexual abuse, to end bullying and equal pay for women. PLUS to change the politician pension laws whereby instead of receiving their massive pensions from the day they retire from politics and being able to earn as much as they want without losing any pension They also should NOT start getting their pension until they are 67 and should only be able to earn a max of $120 a week and should receive much less pension; which would save the taxpayers Billions of $ annually which could go towards increases for pensioners, education, health, infrastructure, etc

To stop making promises they can't keep (NZ housing crisis and non existent builds), increase income to cover basic living, be easier to deal with...some government departments (ACC for example) are hell, our 'free' education is not free (especially when you hit college), make tax codes easier (16 different ones if you are an individual), I could go on but I've got lawns to mow and half an hour to try and get the damn mower started, hmmm there's sheep in that paddock over there.......

Pensioners are the forgotten ones and the government is out of touch with pensioner's ability to survive on the measly payments they receive in pension payments. There are 2 types of pensioners being those who own thier own home (meaning they have no mortgage or rent to pay) AND those who rent, who pay on average between $600 to $800 a fortnight in rent from thier measly pension payments; making them $600 to $800 a fortnight financially worse off than pensioners who own thier own homes. Although the government does pay rent assistance, those payments are way out of date with the rent increases over the past decade or more and need to be massively increased. It would strongly appear that when the government determines the pensioners' ability to survive on the amount of pension they receive, they ONLY consider pensioners who own thier own home outright, who are $600 to $800 a fortnight financially better off than the pensioners who rent thier home. In early 2020, the government added salt to the wound of pensio

In early 2020, the government added salt to the wound of pensioners by giving the unemployed people the "Pandemic Supplement" which doubled the dole payments to $1100 a fortnight for several months, thus being MORE than the average pensioner; AND the government DID NOT give pensioners any "Pandemic Supplement" payments. Although that salt in the wound made the wound sting, in late 2020, when pensioners were due for another pay rise, the government opened that wound, poured more salt onto it, then rubbed that salt into the wound by REFUSING to give pensioners that payment increase which they were entitled to receive. Although that additional salt rubbed into the pensioners wound had infected the wound, the government decided that they have NOT caused enough harm to the pensioners and decided to add even more salt to the infected wound by adding insult by announcing in March 2021 that single pensioners will receive a payment increase of $8-40 a fortnight ( $4-20 a week )....which barely buys a cup of coffee. If they lie...they get fired...no compensations ...if they make promises that they do not keep...if they mislead, steal, trick or deceive in any way ...they get fired...if they are proved to have damaged the country, pumped money into their friends pockets or wasted billions of taxpayer dollars...they are fired, go straight to prison for the longest term possible under law with no appeal... I personally am sick of arrogant lying politicians...world wide....these should be hanging offenses...how DARE they

Increase the pension and allow pensioners to earn more maybe an extra $150 a week without loosing points
