Help,
I just signed on to fiber optics. My phone line is still on top of the ground. Yesterday, I had tons of static like the old lines that had been in since the 70's. I had to redo my blink cameras, took me two days, with new batteries, and manual install. The fiber optic man said when my new iphone did not work, it was my phone, and I pointed out to him that my iphone works great in town just not at my home. Turned out that was because he had not unhooked the old router box, once we did that it worked great. The TV's work great on the fiber. I have not yet received my first bill. I wondered if anyone else who has fiber could give me any pointers, if they have static on their landline phone lines etc? My phones are not very old, just got them not long ago, it is a five phone cordless set.
