I wondered how many who read this have had a territorial english bluebird, constantly go from window to window to window and look in and smash worms on the windows. We have had one here for three years now doing this. While his female mate sits on the eggs and hatches out the babies, he stalks me in my home. I have tried window guards, had a friend here one day and he was thorping the window and she said that bird is trying to get your attention, go give him some attention, lol. The first year he did this i was seriously afraid he was going to knock himself out. He is an extremely good provider, constantly feeding his mate and the babies, one year i counted 9 babies flew out of the nest in one day. He impresses me.
It is like he is trying to feed me worms too. The menonnite lady who was here said get a can and let him put the worms in the can and we will go fishing. lol. I give up on having clean windows. You can imagine my shock when he showed up back at my bedroom window looking through that window at me. It sort of scared me.
