Remember that target we were trying to avoid by 2050?...and we all agreed to?...in Paris?..and we all clapped....because we were so clever and saved the world?....YES that one...well tonight's news said we will probably go past it now within two more years...we have put MORE carbon in the air..not less...fantastic....nice work...good to see everyone is paying attention..
Sadly mate...me too..I think at some point Catherine's faith will be tested...big time..(see below)..I'm not saying anything....maybe she is right...(where did she get the 10 years from?)...that bit is weird...well all of it was weird...but that part comes first....
There wasn’t an option there to just say “YES”. Not “yes it will be tough”. Just YES we will survive as it is natural, the cycles all repeat themselves so stop the hysteria.
We’ve survived the climate changing and natural disasters ok ever since humans started roaming the planet so I’m sure the next ten years will be a breeze
I think most of us will, although the rising sea levels may wipe out Islands in the Pacific and low level areas displacing many. Coastal erosion will also cause people to move inland or to higher ground. I think if we all do our bit now to save the planet, stop chopping down trees and producing plastics and toxic chemicals etc, we should all be fine
We certainly may not survive government attempts to tax us or force us to rebuild our homes to counter a naturally occurring phenomenon. The glaciers were melting and receding across the northern hemisphere long before man had developed any technology more advanced than banging rocks together to start a fire. It's not people, folks. Natural cycles.
That's true...and the latest volcano in Iceland proves that.
It brings about more CO2.
And we have had volcano activity before man was around.
The earth is still kicking along.
Everyone do your best, to lessen your carbon footprint; change your vehicle, solar power, grow what vegetables you can, plant tree’s of fruit and nuts, compost at home, not the best decision to rely on our government to make all of our life decisions. Time’s will be tough, but not as tough as it was during time’s of war. Look after each other!
The climate has been changing for billions of years and, will continue no matter what b's the government's throw at us. One large volcanic eruption spews out more "greenhouse" gases in a day than all of us do in a year. If the natural weather patterns shift, it's natural. Plan accordingly.

if i,m lucky i will be in my 90s so really i don,t care we lived threw dooms day in the 60s now climit change climit change happens every million years you can,t stop it
I wish the fkn media and politicians would stop shoving climate change down our throats.
Dont listen to them and carry on doing what you need to do in life, just ignore the rest
yes. stop panic., stop scaring the children. In my day it was going to be an ice age, an atom bomb, a hole in the ozone layer... we might get the bomb shortly, but stay over the horizon from it and you'll be right.
I agree, and we have survived the last hundred or so years - nothing is new - we have droughts, we have floods and bushfires - nothing has changed there. Definitely stop scaring the children and all othe vulnerable people who believe everything they are being told
Agree with both of you. Everybody is trying to sensationalize something which is normal. Planet cools down, planet heats up. It's part of the planet's life cycle.
The fact that people think that they can control the planets life cycle is scarier than climate change itself. Climate change has always happened and will always happen.
One hundred years ago they were sensationalizing the fact that the planet was cooling, and guess what? In one hundred years' time they will again be sensationalizing the fact the planet is cooling again.
Panic the masses = control the masses. It's a simple formula for crowd control.
And don't get me started on the religious angle.
the bit I really like is when a volcano goes burp in Hawaii and in less than 5 seconds it has put more gunge into the atmosphere than all the Toyota Prius-es have allegedly saved throughout their life.
We don't need to do anything you.
There are so many idiots on here writing rubbish about nothing they know of.
They probably take anti--anxiety pills to deal with their paranoia.
We will. It won’t be that bad. In the past there’s no media hoo ha about natural disasters but they still happened - we just don’t get to hear about them coz there were no internet. We will survive even though the scaremongers carry on about it
8 rewards and I couldn't find an answer that fit for me so I chose "prefer not to answer" , but in my mind I think we are going to be ok. We'll deal with natural disasters as we always have and there's always collateral damage, but we have been experiencing this climate change for a long time and we'll just continue to take what comes like we have been. What choice do we have? There's no miracle answer.
No we have not been experiencing any climate change for a long time.
Natural disasters have always happened and always will, yet somehow they get blamed on climate change.
And their is no climate warming...
at least not in Australia.
Its probably been cooler for the last ten years or so
Its funny how our labour government goes on and on about climate change, yet the moron, prime minister... thinks its ok to bring nearly... 200,000 migrants, into Australia, and add to the burdens of our infrastructure and the need to use up more of our precious land to house these people.
Population is never an issue under Labor.
climate change has been around for millions of years, only than people saw it as punishment from God, So the BIBLE Says, But they survived, and so will we and our future families, its not climate we have to worry about but some idiot who things King Pin and will push the mighty RED BUTTON
I am afraid the answer options are pretty non-sensical. We are not ALL going to survive the climate changes. Many people are dying of floods and famine every single day. And unless we change what each and every one of us is doing, there will be many more deaths.
In the earliest days of earth it rained for 70 years and caused the oceans to form giving us the name "the Blue Planet". It must be true I saw it on the TV! These last few years of La Nina has me wondering if it might be happening again.
Not even sure some of us will survive the day.
As the suburbs of Melbourne flood, I lay on my couch feeling foolishly secure in the south eastern suburbs, as areas North of the Yarra cop the brunt of the flooding, for now……it’s never happened in Melbourne before…..we’re not Queensland ya know…..I can’t help but wonder do people still seriously think that climate change is not a real thing or is just a normal process of nature……..ummmmm it’s real, it’s wrong, and we have, and continue to Eff it up everyday on behalf of all the living creatures on this planet !!!
Climate has changed since day on of year dot. BUT the idiot elites who are trying to play GOD will kill humans, animals and vegetation .. AND THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING.1 reason climate bs is wrong. BANK WOULD NOT BE LENDING BILLIONS to build on water front as they dont like to lose money>>>>> ALSO it takes more mining to produce on wind turbine and one solar panel that it does to mine coal/gas for power. and reliable.. have a good look at GREEN GOO GERMANY.
4pts. Unfortunately humans with their selfish attitude to other species will continue for many years to come. Climate change is mostly a natural cycle however humans maybe speed things up by killing nature
I answered "We need leaders with vision...are there any out there?" Well, I was talking about Jehovah God Almighty and His Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior! In the Bible, at Revelation 11:18, it reads, "But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time came for the dead to be judged and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to BRING TO RUIN THOSE RUINING THE EARTH." If you read Psalm Chapter 37 in the Bible, you'll learn EXACTLY what is going to happen here on the earth! ;-D
Climate change is a globalist scam to redistribute wealth equally throughout the world. The intention is to deindustrialise and tax the wealthier western nations into poverty and make us all equally poor and miserable world wide.
Yes, it will be tough, but we will all pull through, just like we have since the beginming of time and even before we had all the latest fan-dingled, dangled technologies and weather forecasting abilities AND YET still building and settling in well known disaster zones.
This is a capitalistic planet (profits over people) and food prices are constantly RISING. We all need food - maybe the super-rich will SURVIVE - since the super-rich will have the money to pay outrageous food prices!
I have no concerns at all about this issue.
Its not my problem and im not changing my lifestyle to suit the leftards of this world.
The only thing is the greed of the elite who live a more affluent lifestyle and say they care about the environment but don't.
Does albense, the prime minister make any sacrifices for the environment, whilst driving his car, using a plane to go overseas regular.
Does he stop using heat or a air-- con for his property?
Does he still eat meat?
NZ is going to bring in a methane tax on COWS that burp and fart, and no its not a joke either.
Its been in the news.
The nz farmers are not happy.
The cost will most probably be passed onto consumers.
Do we in Australia want to go down that road also?
I don't believe farmers will in Australia accept this.
The cost of living is high enough as it is without more tax.
Also one energy company said that energy costs will rise to about 35 percent next year, and some of the extra tax will be imposed by the corrupt Labor government.
The idiots who voted for this hang your head in shame!
