When covid first happened we were all scared because people were afraid of getting sick with covid 19 and all over the news everywhere around the world thousand of people was in icu or died because of the pandemic covid 19 but I know it was really scary back then when covid first happened in the world and when the whole world was isolated because of the pandemic but then it taught me and all of you that to always makesure to do proper hand washing and sanitization and proper hygiene to help us kill the germs so that there is less chance of getting covid, flu. My health is f'd because of all the stress of being on constant lock down. Was only allowed out once a week, for no more than 60 Minutes , to do a basic shop for 4 people.

That I am probably too introverted and isolated - lockdowns didn't affect me in any way as they were already my current lifestyle. I only recently got covid for the first time, I wasn't having any contact with the outside world basically for a long time even before covid haha. Have since tried to get out more, try to socialise, got a job, etc. So I guess it made my life a bit better as it opened my eyes to that. Also that it showed the world could have always easily been more accomodating of remote work, it just decided not to be. Since covid it seems to have stayed to be more of an accepted norm now which I like as it's good for people with children, disability, rural lives etc which includes me, so covid probably improved my job prospects/abilities a bit too.

They are now talking about the avian flu, or bird flu.

The thing is, that all world governments and the medical profession said that this COVID is the equivalent of a Spanish flu. Back in 2009, another bad outbreak, tho of lesser importance, they the government of the day said it could kill 100,000 Aussies. It was a similar virus, to the COVID one. Called a SARS virus. Well it never happened and it went away after some months. Even back then they were trying to scare people. I think many of us are now very less trusting of government and doctors. The flu viruses are starting to spread around aus. Flu is more dangerous than COVID. I had a very bad strain once as did a few other people. It caused bad side affects.

I know this sounds sulky but I refuse to disinfectant wipes. Not only do they effect the environment but I don't think they help our immune system, especially for the little ones. It is funny to see people go into the supermarket, wipe down the trolley handle and then touch everything else. Of course, this is just my opinion and what other people do is totally up to them

I did everything right from masks to shots.I still got the COVID in November 2023.It is some real nasty stuff.I tested negative lately but , I still have a cough.Everyone I know who has had it said they still have the cough.

Some of us are very adaptable. Not everyone needs much human interaction. I'm not a needy person unlike you!

What I learnt was the importance of friends and basic human interaction. I was single at the time and almost went insane. On the flip side I also learnt the importance of self worth. Working from home gave me opportunities that I would never have even imagined in 2019. I am no longer am a wage slave to a boss that doesn't give a hoot. I'm married with my own business that makes 3 times what I did before. Believe in yourself and think outside the box. Amazing things can happen.

The flu is probably worse than Covid ever was. I can testify to that... as I had a bad experience with the flu once, and so did others I know. Was a very bad flu strain going around at the time. Affecting people of all ages . Covid is really only bad if you're already ill, very old, and have weak lungs, heart, etc. Otherwise, most people survived well enough. Not so those innocent people who got the shot and died soon afterwards. Some Covid vaccines were even believed contaminated.

Our family will never forget the support we got from our community.We saw a caring side of people we knew was there but really is evident in a crisis.Very humbling

Our country is much worse off because of it. I lost multiple family members across states because of it. No it was not a farce. Could it have been political? Maybe so, but it still killed people. I think we learned that many people can work from home and not pollute our air so much. That being clean does matter. It brought us closer as family and we learned we don't have to spend a fortune to be entertained.

Awareness of my wellbeing

I was so against having the vaccine but due to keeping my employment, had no choice. Since having the injection my health has deteriorated. The worse thing is was supposed to be voluntary. Voluntary to get the jab or loose your job… I really had a choice.

For all of us that got the Vaccines and cut off our friends that wouldn’t “do their duty” they are having the last laugh. Covid Vaccine Injuries, including deaths, make me VOMIT! I know of NOT 1 person that died of Covid but I know of 4 people that died from vaccine injury complications and MANY others that are suffering with skin issues, hair falling out etc. I feel hopeless and soooooo mad we were #labrats

I think a great opportunity to educate people on diets so that their bodies are much less susceptible to colds and influenzas has been sadly missed by much of the world. Fortunately I don't get colds or flu so was not unwell with covid but I am sad that such a vast amount of money was wasted around the world as most people who got covid have been fully innoculated.

During the fires our community was told to leave ,I was put into a large shelter with over 100 people in a hall and more outside camping. One woman was really sick,but ambo's didn't know what was wrong with her. 1 week later I was also very ill*,same symptoms as covid.* My doc said it was smoke inhalation from the fires and retardant used at the time. Never been so sick ever,and I have had pneumonia 3 times. Now I wonder whether that was covid.

I learnt that people including businesses were greedier and more self focused,all about profit than I ever knew was possible.I also discovered that after contracting the virus twice I was left with ringing in my left ear that was not there before and I still suffer with today.I learnt that people would never be the same and our choices were taken away.

What I learnt from covid was 1,I didn't know how much I missed my family and friends until access to them was taken away. 2,I thought I was a clean person until I had to wash my hands every 20 seconds(and how washing too much would leave your skin sore).3. How scary it is to have a rampant virus that you can't protect yourself or kids from .I don't consider myself a "helicopter parent" but I did entertain the possibility of home school on a permanent basis for a little while.

I have learnt that people have changed. When I was a child we all had to have the vaccines to attend school. We proudly showed our little brown spot indicating we had our shot. We had seen the measles; chicken pox and whopping cough do damage to others. We knew how bad it could be. Yea we also knew some mothers put children who were ill with children not ill so they could get it and get over. But everyone knew the vaccine or shot as we called it was a life saver for some and for some it kept the illness at a minimum. We did not protest, refuse to have and spend precious time fighting over the vaccine. Within a short time these illnesses were no longer a threat to anyone. Lately I look at the world and see the dumbing down of people. AT 84 I see a different world then at 5. Pizfer have totally screwed up now! The mainstream media are finally catching up to the truth now, that the conspiracy people have been saying all along, that the VACCINES do not work. When pizfer was put on the market they conned both the politicians and doctors and public into thinking they would not only work but would stop transmission. Just how corrupt the Liberal / National govt really was, the granting of huge contracts to businesses in which certain ministers had shares... so many more examples 4. That work from home was always a possibility for many workers, but only implemented when businesses had no choice. 5 How selfish and stupid people can be - creating shortages that would not have existed in anywhere near the extent had they chosen to simply shop as normal and not panic buy. 6. The extent of how much shit front line workers ( retail, health etc) have to deal with stupid, abusive moronic customers. (again not new but intensified) 7. Reinforced for me it is jobs that often happen in the background and are often taken for granted like cleaning that keep the economy ticking over. Get rid of the fat cat executives and a business with a good staff will keep on running, lose the cleaners and it goes to hell. 8. Reinforced to me that I am not a social person. Other than going to work ( was an essential worker for most of 2020 and half of 2021) the only thing I missed was not seeing family members and some friends in other households. 9.
