The latest trend with supermarkets is home delivery... because you are too busy. They REALLY believe that we all shop at one place. The trick is simply to gain our trust or tie us in with loyalty cards, gifts, or subscription memberships... clever advertising... look at the members price!!

If it is home delivered you do not have any reduced items, or the chance to compare prices, or items on special... and you are tied to the one supplier too. Some people need this service, for whatever reason... but everyone else should get off their butts and keep them honest. Last week I spent $150 on shopping using two supermarkets and total savings were $70 (it was my best in a while).

If you can afford to shop around, I suggest you do so.
