Canning and safety
I have a deck garden, everything grown in pots on our decks. So far, this year I have canned 3 quarts of beets, 16 1/2 quarts of green beans, 37 quarts of tomato juice and new beans just starting to come on now, as well as new tomatoes getting ripe every day so hoping to double the yields. There is no work involved all you do is plant and harvest and can. You do have to water and give a little fertalizer. While I am unable to get down to plant in a row on the ground, I am able to sit in a chair and do things in my deck garden.
I am wondering how many others are doing this type of gardening and enjoying and reaping the benefits?
