You may have heard about a car owner being locked inside his car in a hot car park while the vehicle performed a software update...which was triggered remotely by the car manufacturer...who can also trace your cars whereabouts at any time and where it is has been...you can be watched and listened to...be hacked and lose all control of the vehicle...and that Governments are at last showing concern over whether cars manufactured in potentially hostile countries could be used as weapons...you bought the car...but how much do you own it now?.....my car reports problems that do not exist...bleeps and wails if I get vaguely near things or put shopping on the seat...but failed to notice that 5 light bulbs were not working at the last service....who asked for all this very expensive rubbish?.. I suspect no-one...but it makes plenty of money for the clowns that build them...what do you think?...how about someone starting "the simple car company"... I'd buy one...
