Life didn't work out for me to have children. I didn't mind when I was younger, but now I can see how much I missed our on. I'm twice divorced, and my parents and siblings are deceased. That means I have no immediate family. I have four nephews, but they don't bother with me unless I practically beg. Even then, they won't come and visit even though one passes by every day to and home from work! His daughter participates in school functions, and the school is less than five minutes away! Luckily, I got involved with the Office of the Aging, and I have a caregiver who comes twice a week to work for me. We have become close friends, but we are not allowed to be friends which sucks! What they don't know won't hurt, but I would never want her to lose her job. My neighbor loves me, and her grandson visits me occasionally, but it's still lonely. I have no one to go anywhere with. Everywhere I go and everything I do, I do alone. I have panic attacks so I'm limited in what I can do, who I can be with and where I go. God has really saved me in more ways than one. He is always there and knows what I'm going through. I talk to Him, talk to myself, my stuffed animals, dolls, plants, etc. It's a matter of finding a way to cope and making your own fun. Holidays are difficult, but I also have a case manager that is always on call if I need her. She comes every two weeks, and I love her to death! The best answer was to learn to love myself! So I talk to my "other" self and give myself encouragement and kick my own ass when I need to quit feeling sorry for myself. I have a lot of hobbies and interests. It's just a matter of state of mind.

Currently my community and physical trainer are keeping me going and I am extremely thankful to them all.

well my four kids disown me because of a divorce they all went their fathers way.!!!

I would say it is my grandchildren. I love my GC. I take them to school 4 days a week and look after them on Saturdays. They come out with the funniest things at times and their innocents is so precious. I love being part of their lives and enjoy it immensley.

First of all your own family I mean siblings and the parents. Then my own family husband children, then the extended families. All these people give a broader meaning to life. We mutate life with such knowledge and experience.

Husband until he died now my Toy poodle and people from disabilty that I used to support, now go to the homes to visit two monthly and always made so welcome.

My 2 ( only ones I have ) grandkids.sometimes they are a bit of a pest when they think I am a yo-yo and demanding things to eat. Putting that aside they are good kids. Next year it’s up to grade 3 and 2 for them. I had my work done today getting 38 cards for all the kids in class and teachers

I would have to say my 3 amazing grandsons, adore and would do anything for them. My 2 sons are a close second with my Daughter in-law, she is the daughter I never had.

My Mum and Dad firstly and then our pets. They are always happy to see us, they go every where we do. They enjoy trips in the car and going for a walk. We have an old boy almost 15 now and a 6 year old and our 3 legged cat is 7. They are our world and we just love them so much. We will loose our old guy one day maybe soon which just breaks my heart but he has had the best life. He's been all around Australia even Tasmania so he's well travelled. He sleeps a lot these days but he's happy and not in any pain. Has a bit of arthritis but haven't we all. They are just the best pets we have ever had. Next time we get a puppy again we want a girl. Hubby is a wonderful man and he gives me great joy after a horrible marriage first time around. He's my rock.Edited 09-Dec-23 12:14pm

My family, my pet cat Ginger, when I wake up every morning Ginger greets me either scratching the bed sheets or playing with my hands until I get up out of bed. Pets are great, they don't judge you, tease you or have arguments with you. Pets never leave your side when you feel happy, sad or frustrated. .

My dogs and every other dog in the world. They will give you more loyalty and unconditional love than any bi-ped could ever do.

My grandkids are the most important people in my life my kids are old enough to make it on their own and make the right decision in life I can guide my grandkids if they don't listen to their parents and l granddaughter is very special to she confines in me everything and tells me I'm her best friend you can't beat that

Yer i guess my man, and the kids and grandkids, not that i see any of them much really. I work fulltime still and at 65 well its a battle for my energy reserves. Nature brings me alot of joy.

My aunt Lee, my mom's sister, who I met once, but we still call each other, and send each other gifts! I didn't meet my mom until I was in my 30's. I spent 5 days with her, and then she was murdered. I met my family members I never knew I had at her funeral. I love my aunt very much! ;-D
