Making Appliances "sense" stuff is expensive and mostly pointless....my fridge/freezer has a large sensor panel in the middle of the door...so I check the temperatures inside (Why?)...if anyone accidently touches it opening and closing the door...whatever part of the fridge was selected is immediately turned down to its lowest setting...and your food gets ruined...nice my last car had an engine warning light that was permanently on...and nobody could fix it...it wasn't the car... it was the little light....and my current printer sometimes hides from my computer...and when it can be found it claims its current ink cartridges that are fairly full all need replacing and refuses to print (my first printer only used black ink...and you knew when it was out of ink when the print started to become invisible)...and it is all going to get much worse as they add more smart things to things that don't need it...like your toothbrush and the toaster... God help us!
