After finishing a lease on a house recently, we were issued with a thousand-page document as a condition report. We did all that was necessary under our legal obligations. Payments were made for replacement batteries and light bulbs, flea testing because we had a cat, lawn mowing, weeding and finally professional cleaning just to make sure everything was completed. It turned into a nightmare of nauseating detail.
