Change of seasons
Nomes 202424-Sep-24
Do you feel that the weather impacts your mood and daily life? In the cold months you are less energised and prefer to stay home compared to warmer months when you might go to see a show. I feel the weather and seasons definitely impact me, but I push myself to get out there and do things it just seems less enjoyable in the cooler weather

          • I enjoy each season for different reasons. I enjoy summer get togethers with family and friends on the beach for picnics. Fall and Spring mostly for hiking and winter brings Christmas which I enjoy very much as I love to decorate and spend time with family and friends.

            • The summer heat in Sydney sucks my soul out. I prefer cooler weather because that's when I'm energised & always in a good mood. If I could afford to migrate between the hemispheres, I'd follow winter around the globe.

              • I like the change of seasons, however I prefer summer...longer days and wearing light clothing. . I feel more isolated in winter so it does affect my mood somewhat.

                • I live in West Australia.Glorious weather.

                  • My favourite is autumn. Slightly cooler, but not as cold.

                    • Not always! Winter doesn't bother me that much as I appreciate the cooler weather to exercise more. I find it harder to do in hotter weather. I really hate the heat and humidity. I've got European genes that have never been accustomed to our hot weather. Fair skin and I can't take too much Sun. I can easily deal with the cold. I understand where you are coming from ally, your just not use to cold mornings or days. I think you can learn to adapt. I was doing it since I was a school kid. Was use to cold mornings. If you go for a walk it doesn't take much to warm up. You just need warm clothing. If you're in North America, the colder parts, well we rarely get as bad here. I get annoyed more by heat. Heat does make me a bit cranky!😑 You don't have to exercise outside in the cold. Do it inside or use your nearest gym.

                      • I like cooler weather after such a hot summer.
                        ·
                        • Yes I didn't like it all that ...so I moved to Queensland...I don't really have winter anymore...I don't miss it...
                          ·
                          • Me too and I so agree. Came up from down south over 40 years ago and even though I returned for 3 years to help a family member I would never move back permanently. I froze most of the time I was there and that was during a reasonably mild 2 winters. I had to wear a hat, gloves, scarf, jumpers, coat , boots you name it. I felt like the Michelin man whereas here I do not even own a coat now. I live in walking distance to the beach with trees around me with some wildlife though not as much as there used to be due to being built upon. I still hate wet days though.

                        • Prefer cooler weather. Maybe because I was a winter baby.
