Look at what happenede in the US this year. Stop kidding yourselves. Do your part. Next time you turn on that heater do you really need it on or just put on another jumper. I always laugh at cows' farting theory. What nonsense! Cows have been here for such a long time and they always have been farting no matter what fart they produce. If to feed cows with rubbish they will fart rubbish. What about humans farting? Many people eat rubbish and drink poison. More than 99 per cent of the gas that people pass consists of just nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, and methane. How is that not normal for cows to fart? Is that normal if the military experiment in the ocean with their bombs? No harm at all right? Is that normal if they dig the resources out of Earth to make new technologies and earn a huge profit? Is that normal that humans are connected to their phones, no one can live without them anymore, phones are like the extension of the hand. Or brain? How many wild animals are killed every day in different countries? I do think this should be the global law about wildlife. Hmmm, lots to think about, isn't it? Climate is always changing and always will change. They need to think about changes somewhere else, I guess. Anyway, I like less plastic around.

As for the questions, I don't think there is any denying that we are contributing to the changing climate. Yes the Earth has been changing over millennia but we are accelerating it. By burning fossil fuels for energy we are releasing way too much carbon into the atmosphere, carbon which the earth had stored deep underground. And what sucks up this carbon and creates oxygen? The trees and plants that we also love to destroy for greed. I realise this is simplistic but I'm not a scientist. I just think that if we could eliminate using these fuels, rejuvenate our forests and create greener living spaces in urban areas it would help quite a lot.

Just look at the money being made by people making and installing solar panels, electric cars and batteries. And all this rubbish needs replacing every 10 or 20 years. It is one huge con and many people have been sucked in either because they didn't really think about it or are too afraid to disagree. How on earth can mankind change the weather? There is the sun and moon with all their effects, undersea volcanoes spewing hot water that heats our oceans altering the currents which effects the rain we get. Climate change has been blamed for the recent floods which is totally incorrect, they were caused by El Nino which has been known by the South Americans for thousands of years. People should ask questions and not simply accept the rubbish pushed as FACT.

I think we should do more to reduce pollution, and take better care of the planet, but there has always been changes to the climate.

I've also observed evidence of glacial activity within the greater Adelaide metropolitan area. I definitely believe the amount of plastic - especially in the oceans - is responsible for temperature change in the water and causes issues. Also continually cutting down trees in the metropolitan area is the cause of a lot of issues. I - too - have read up a lot on it and believe a lot of our issues with climate change (rising temps and lessening of rain or flooding) is MAN CREATED. There will always be a certain amount of naturally occurring changes but what we have now is very extreme.

I don't believe in Climate Change. The Earth is constantly changing, and all these scientists use "climate change" to scare people into thinking the planet is going to be completely destroyed in x amount of years. If all that was true, then Earth would have been destroyed when the dinosaurs went instinct. Plus, I would think a real change in climate would alter weather patterns and seasons all over the world.

Having heard it was as cold as this time currently way back in 1904 why would I believe in climate change? However, many scientists who wish to pursue their particular passion of study can continue with new grants of money if they say they are studying the effect of climate change on this or that. Take a walk down memory lane and see what the Thames River in London looked like when it was completely iced over and the food stalls you could skate up to on the edge of the river. There wasn't man made pollution in those days as it was prior to the Industrial Era and there was also less of a population on this earth. Perhaps the current population is the real problem?

If the climate change arguments are ever finally debunked, one consequence would be that the Greens would disappear forever. No bad thing in itself. They are shrill, they cherry pick the science that appears to support their arguments, & in many cases have no idea. An example was the 2019 bushfires which they blamed on climate change. The only part it had was in making the excessive fuel load which existed largely because of their determination to lock up public land, allow the fire trails to overgrow & the noxious weeds & feral animals to take hold, even drier than it need have been & far more plentiful. I think climate change is on the rise and their is a lot of people everywhee just like me who believe that also, I also believe that the climate change is part or large part of people getting sick and the cold or hot whether does not help at all. I believe climate change is real, and as David Attenborough says, we need to act now before it's too late.

I really do not know what to believe. It is a bit like, do you believe in Santa Claus! My husband goes off his rocker when he hears statements eg the recent bushfire/floods or whatever were caused by global warming. The statements are never, this has never happened before. They are always we have not had a bushfire/flood or whatever since a certain date. So we have had catastrophic events before. The last floods we had in Australia I heard someone say that we had not had such severe flooding since Medieval times. I guess this says something. I did hear a news story a few years ago that it will not be long before insurance companies refuse to cover houses on the shore line. This is, basically prime real estate. I think it went on to say that it will lead to large property development companies buying up this prime real estate as they will be able to afford to put in sea walls. They will then build high rise all along the coast line and sell them to recover the costs of putting in the sea walls with a huge profit on top.

Climate change, or rather the manipulation of a normal phenomenon, is a load of garbage. It is all about control and making money for governements and big business. They'd be in for a big shock if we all stopped buying their crap!!

I don't doubt pollution is having an adverse effect on the planet in addition to changes and extremes that occur naturally. People that don't care are industrialists and certain countries who have little regard for the earth and people on it provided their own agendas aren't affected.

Could the climate change push be a means for big business and/or politicians to make money? For instance, I am a legislator that supports electric cars and buses and solar panels and windmills and my spouse buys lots of stock in those companies whose value increases when the legislation is passed.

To my surprise all my spring flowers which should not be blooming for another 2 months have all started to flower now, in what to me seems a pretty cool winter. Perhaps the people who say these things live in large cities where you can't see what nature is doing. My TV also shows America with huge forest fires in California, huge winds, Whatever name you give it, something unusual is happening to the weather.

Let the many professionals/scientists/meteorologists/environmentalists/theorists etc...worry about the technicalities of the weather and the climate. Most of us don't know diddly squat about weather and 'normal' climate changes. Focus on what YOU CAN do to make things better. Reduce, reuse, recycle, rethink, recalibrate. There is no fraud when it comes to environmental damage. The damage is real and measurable. Climate is just one part of it.

Pretty sure climate change is real. Clues: sediments and quantities of environmental chemicals reveal a lot of clues. Sediments store chemicals like carbon dioxide and carbon dioxide levels are a good indicator of the climate as different chemicals have different reflective or absorption properties influencing how much solar radiation is locked in. A modern example of sediments storing chemicals is micro plastics. Dinosaurs were wiped out from something big enough which you can bet would have influenced the climate if it wasn't climate that caused the extinction event. Volcanoes. Look up "volcanic winter". It's temporary though most certainly influences climate. Verifiable throughout human history. Continents and land masses influence ocean currents so Gondwanaland or Pangaea would definitely have had a different climate. Human history - plenty of places have climates that have changed. Man influenced climate change is entirely possible - you can do heat absorption experiments yourself and see how much/long carbon dioxide retains heat in a sealed jar versus a jar that has air in it that was out in the sun for just as long. Just put a thermometer in each jar before you seal it and you can see for yourself. Whether we are doing enough to speed up climate change is borderline debatable but scientists have a pretty good idea that we are but they need to learn a lot more as well. I think that we're speeding up the climate because cities (one example) always seem to be warmer than countryside and the difference is only surfaces and smog. We cut down trees, and never replace them, we starve the earth of oxygen. {2} poison gases. we released so much poisonous gases into the atmosphere. things that we do, create carbon dioxide, and other gases into the atmosphere. Look at the life cycle of living creatures and how much they/we all go through until the final curtain. Climate changes, the seasons come and go but always manages to be there each day in some form. What I fail to comprehend why what we already have is not kept as backup instead of detonating and pulling it down just in case the latest and greatest inventions run out of puff or get blasted away or sabotaged/hacked by evil doers who by the flick of a button can bring us to our knees. You have got to be kidding me. Are you a consipracy theorist? "Scientists" that have been on the payrolls of interest groups to say it is not real for decades, have been proven as liars. This climate change debate has been going on for over 50 years and much of what was warned about has come to pass. Yes, the climate naturally changes BUT humans have sped up this cycle with their polluting of the environment, burning of fossil fuels, dumping of waste in oceans, landfills etc not to mention the environmental damage mining companies, oil companies etc to to the environment and then when they have a "disaster event" how little they do to actually clean up their mess or repair the damage their activities have done to the planet. I suggest that you research this properly as there is no way any reasonable person can believe that humans are not contributing to climate change if you just see the evidence that has been stacking up for well over 50 years.
