I have been in HR for a long time and am a bit jaded from the corporate world. I went into HR to make companies a better by improving culture and therefore retention. But the corporate world seems to have no interest in that kind of long term thinking.
I have started studying education support part-time looking at going into the education sector instead. Has anyone else experienced a career change? Was it worth it? Are you happier? Are you thinking about changing careers?
