I recently heard of a country shutting down their internet. Suddenly I wondered what would happen in the US. In my mind, I pictured people jumping out of third floor windows, like when the stock market crashed!

How difficult would that be for you? I would miss it for sure, but my world certainly wouldn't come to an end. I still use a landline, and I was born long before the internet, so I know I can live without it and possibly better in some ways.

No more high internet bills, no more scamming and wondering what is real and what is fake. Perhaps we would read books again and just maybe visit a library or even go to actually visit that grandmother who will be just fine on her own! Is she?

I would hope we would realize that there are real people in the world and maybe do more for each other! That's what I would do. Are we, wasn't our free time? Yes, there are people who need us, but they won't ask.
