How old is your oldest household appliance. I remember going to my grandmother's funeral in 1983 and we inherited her Whirlpool fridge. It is still going perfectly.

Can anyone beat that. I really have no idea how long she had it for, but it was not anywhere new when we got it. It must be around fifty years old. It has never been serviced since we have had it. That is practically antique; completely unheard of today.
