Remember back in the day when your local postie or delivery person knew your name, knew when you were at work, who your neighbours are and where it s safe to leave items .

What changed?

Seems every day now we see somebody complaining about a parcel that s missing or an incorrect delivery for someone else dropped off at your place 12 suburbs away at a house number and street that doesn t resemble the label at all. Or a grocery delivery accidentally left at the wrong house.

Houses haven t changed much. Neither have streets. Addresses can be navigated to by GPS so what s changed?

Why, in spite of all the modern technology available, is it seemingly so hard to get a clearly addressed article to the correct house?
