Not on. I will be staying home besides I no longer travel overseas but thankfully have done quite a bit over the years and loved it. Such a shame how the world is at the moment not only with the Covid but the unrest. Let us hope saner heads prevail and both of these situations will ease

  No it is not every time I was away from home and didnot want to be. As for how long it all depended as to what was wrong where I went and it was not uncommon for me to be hijacked on the return trip to somewhere else. I remember ont time coming back from P&NG in the middle of winter being meet at the airport in Brisbane by the boss and had a folder shoved into my hand and said I had to hurry as the plane was about to leave. No luggage and no idea where I was going just a heap of papers to read about the problem.|When I go to the other end no luggage and dressed in cloths suitable for P&G close to the door it got very cold and I asked one of the aircrew where we where. They thought that was funny but I really had no idea and they wanted me to go down some steps across the tarmac into the airport in Hobart in the middle of a cold snap. Wasn't goign to happen I just said I've got a return ticket I'm going home. The guy who was meeting me had to strip off the jacket he was wearing and send it out so I would even

We don't travel overseas at all, have our own Campervan, I always wanted to see my own country and we have seen a lot of it, and a lot more to go, Australia is so beautiful and such a diverse landscape, we are in wonderment all the time. No desire to travel overseas, especially since the pandemic.

  I did a lot of Australia before I did go overseas but I would never limit it to just my own country. I also did a very long caravan trip with the ex, 3 kids and a dog. Tiring, frustrating and some fun but glad I did it. There are some beautiful and historical places to visit. I wish I could afford to travel again but of course when things are back to normal. However, just have to armchair travel now.

As soon as the Italian government stops holding our vaccinations to ransom and I get my hands on one, I’ll be off like a shot ( excuse the pun). Feel like a bloody caged animal being unable to leave the country. It’s actually much cheaper to travel overseas than it is to holiday in Oz, that’s why so many of us non rich folk do it. Can live on virtually nothing in Vietnam, Indonesia etc

Very apprehensive about travelling to countries with high covid rates. We generally go over to the U.S. to visit with my husbands family every 2nd year but haven't been for 3 years now.....I still have concerns about the vaccines so will not be travelling overseas for another few years yet

Providing ive had all the shots yes i will board a plane as tomorrow is never promised if your going to live in fear you may get covid or the plane goes down you would do nothing in life and the vaccine should protect me from catching it least id get would be a lighter dose of covid

It won't happen until the vaccine is available and taken by all. - and that includes travel within Australia whilst the Australian Prime Minister continues to allow anyone from overseas to come in. As we have already seen Covid19 mutates so that now we have a UK version, a Brazilian version, a South African version and three people with yewt another mutant version have just been allowed to enter and are in Queensland. This is madness but Morrison simply does not care.

The Covid-19 Virus situation is a lot like being in a tunnel. I think there is eventually light at the end of the tunnel. Traveling should definitely resume to normal once we reach that light! It's just a phase that seems difficult to get over at the moment! However, things will return not back to just usual, but much better, with lessons learnt for the better!Edited 05-Mar-21 08:18am

I would not do it. It will be at least two years before I decide to travel to another country even with the vaccine. If I were like my friend and had an elderly mother or other relative I definitely would. But in my situation I am happy here in Australia, feeling safe and plenty of places to visit. I guess I might take a short trip to NZ but probably not.

Have been so lucky we travelled overseas, two cruises around the world, two half world cruises, cruises in the Pacific and many trips to Europe, so now not worried about travelling. It is sad though that Australians can't travel too much in Australia because the States keep closing the borders.

I don't feel safe in my own country (USA) - to many idiots reside in the USA (ignoring basic safety precautions) - when its comes to catching COVID-19. In theory, I could be a lot safer in some countries - when it comes not catching COVID-19, but I don't have diplomatic immunity - when it comes to traveling (or I would be heading to "one" of these safer countries). I believe it is not wise to travel overseas at this present time. The risk of contracting covid 19 is high. All you need is to see when travellers returning back to Australia where some are infected. These people are a risk of infecting others as it has proven. We have a lovely Country to explore here. I definitely would not travel overseas.
