Well it's been a roller coaster of a ride this year globally. I have met some great people on Rewardia and hope next year will be positive for everyone. I thought I would go out with a poem that sums up a typical Christmas for our family.
Aunty May has come to stay with Uncle Bob close by her side,
I let out a groan, the kids all moan and my partner's gone to hide!
The pavlova's gone flat, I can't find my cat and the turkey is horrid and dry.
The pool's sprung a leak, I'm starting to freak, and Nan's just dropped the pie!
I set out the table, it's looking unstable but here's hoping it all goes to plan,
The food is all out, I give out a shout, and here comes my hungry clan.
With bellies full but alas no more pool, we cannot eat another bite,
But we drink wine and beer and sing Christmas cheer to the last of the sunlight.
I let out a sigh, the evening is nigh and people begin to leave,
The dishes are done, I admit it was fun so see you next Christmas Eve......
