I do not swim and therefore ships terrify me. No cruises for me.

Would love to do another cruise but still a bit scared of how easily disease is spread.

i cruised with my trawler for 26 years, then took a couple cruises on the Royal Caribbean Lines,, much, much better than catching fish/scallops/eels/crab,, awesome vacations,, ;-))

Maybe next year, too many other holidays I want to do first, catching up on the ones missed over the past couple of years.

The idea of cruising scares me... open ocean = nope, stuck on a floating thing with thousands of unknown people = nope, all the germs that are shared = absolutely nope. Some people enjoy them and thats all that matters.

No way Jose! Went on one and hated it. They are a petri dish of germs and people are always coming down with something on cruises. However, if you enjoy them, good for you.

Hi Margaret M, Wife & 2 young kids & I did a voyage from hell years ago & boy was it rough. Attendants came into our cabin to shore up the windows to prevent the sea from coming in. Never again.

I would love to, BUT we would need some one to look after 2 dogs and a cat and my hubby don't wanna go. Can't get him to fly either due to the fact he worked at the airport, so he knows what kind of people get onto planes. He would rather stay at home and watch things on tv. Maybe one day I will be able to travel again but need money to do it and we don't right now any ways. Been on a cruise with a brunch of people and we had a blast, it was a good trip.

I definately would but I have no money at the moment. Went on a european river cruise over 11 yrs ago, it was the best holiday I have ever been on..I want to go again. Never been on a sea cruise, but I really am looking forward to going!!

No. Cruise ships are giant disease incubators. Not just covid 19, there were also regular outbreaks of gastro and other nasty viruses

No. Too early yet. The trouble is that you are captive on these boats. I haven't seen anything about the extra precautions they are taking for a viral outbreak. Besides all of this I am too comfortable to leave my own devices at home such as home improvement and maintenance.

Never in a million years! What puts me off most are those ads with that ghastly elderly woman who promotes them! She would be the biggest pain in the butt ever! She is Soooooo Bossy, sooooo Know-all and would expect everyone to agree with her and do as she, and only she, thought everyone else should do. Other than her, the very idea of being cooped up with a lot of people with no escape possible fills me with horror!

It is tempting. I think I will give it six months or so to see things go. I do expect things will be okay as there has always been a huge emphasis on cleaning well before COVID.
