As tax season in Canada approaches and the talks of higher GST payments (for those that actually qualify for it) I wanted to give a little of my advice. Invest some money back into yourself (household) plant a veggie or herb garden even if it is a small one done on a patio or window sill or both. These are items that you can use over and over again for continuous personal food. Make small purchases of items that reduce single use items, which in the long run also keeps money in your pocket. Anything you can reduce your costs on and keeping money in your pocket is investing in your own self.
