I always love visiting Christchurch, it's my hometown & feels like home. I love seeing the new city grow. There are so many awesome little nooks & crannies. Riverside Market is awesome. But just out of the city is Aaron, great for wildlife & love Hamner Springs for the hot pools.

Scotland - even though it was cold it was exciting to go back to my birth place. The scenery is magnificent and the people were so friendly.

It's a place with friendly locals and amazing food.

In 2007 we went to USA we live in Australia. That was a fantastic holiday we went to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Mexico, the things we saw while we were over there were awesome. Have also been to New Zealand which is very nice and interesting. Singapore was also a great place to visit. Vanuatu was nice and relaxing and so was Hawaii.

Orere point nz. HOrse riding, water holes and a beach across the road from the camping ground. The horses are gone now. The beach is probably polluted. But my memories are forever.

Best vacation, when I was a teenager, sailed a boat with 5 others to the British Virgin Islands. Cooked our own meals on the boat, saw beautiful sunsets, went snorkelling, explored caves, and danced to a steel band in the evening. The islands on the British side were not commercialized. Wonderful memories!

One of the best places I have ever visited was Lagos, Nigeria. It was a 'personal' holiday for me - since, I had 'never' taken a trip to Africa. Lagos has been described as the cultural, financial, and ENTERTAINMENT (which appealed to me the most) capital of Africa. Furthermore, Lagos is the biggest city in Africa (by population). Lagos lived up to my expectations (at that point in my life). Unfortunately, I cannot time travel and combined with the passage of time - my memories are warped - at this point in my life - aka being a senior citizen :-))!Edited 21-Apr-23 07:42am

Europe is beautiful. I spent 4 months travelling around Europe when I was young.

Branson-snow storm with my son and daughter in law. We had to stay in the condo but we played board games and my daughter in law fixed a big pot of soup.

St. Kitts - beautiful beaches- one with white sand & waves, one with black sand and calm water for snorkeling, great people, interesting things to see & do, culture to experience, history to take in, golf included, great food, no crime, great weather and great friends to experience it all with!

Monterey Peninsula in Moss Landing! We stayed in an old inn and went kayaking in the Moss Landing Slough. Ate delicious food and watched sunrise and sunsets on the beach.Edited 23-Apr-23 15:25pm

Stuff other countries, I could not care less. Shut the gate and stay away from Australia. The country is full up anyway. No accommodation left.

We have had too many holiday polls and discussions. Who cares? It varies between individuals...you stupid moose. There are too many people travelling and ruining the natural environment. Travel once was fairly expensive, but now it's too cheap. That's why you get more people traveling. I don't care for overseas destinations as most people only go there to take selfies and show others on their Facebook pages. It's the trend to travel overseas. When we had COVID lockdowns we had much cleaner air, less traffic on the roads, etc. Many people are addicted to travel. They don't care about the damage they do to the environment around them tho. The further you travel the more you damage the world. This would of been better as another poll.Edited 21-Apr-23 00:12am

I did love Paris for the history, the people, the museums, the shops etc. but I have been to a lot of beautiful places. Some here in Australia like North Queensland and areas of Victoria, WA and NSW but many beautiful spots here. The beaches are magnificent as is the high country and the outback.
