How do you feel about the current breakfast shows on TV?

Breakfast Shows
Does anyone else find the presenters annoying? I think they should be renamed the Giggle Shows. It doesn't seem to make much difference which channel you watch. I get that they need to be upbeat to start the day, but it would be nice if they were sincere at the same time instead of just laughing at themselves.

        Haven't watched in ages but they are basically all the same except for the presenters and can have "adlike" segments which are NOT news but are trying to pass for news. Morning shows are the worst for being glorified ads rather than "morning entertainment". It is a wonder anyone still watches free to air when between these shows, there are ads, late at night there are more "ad shows" and "infomercials" and other types of programming that is trying to pass for something other than what it is AN AD.

          Cant say I like any of tbem, so tend not to watch it. Look at the news and traffic and then turn them off

                They should be named the GO BACK TO SLEEP show as they are all boring and the so called presenters should get a real job.

                    Agree. I never watch them but occasionally am up early enough to turn on the TV and 2 minutes does me.

                        I do...I don't care for any of the breakfast shows...I prefer to watch Sky News programs - Peta Credlin, Paul Murray and other presenters...It is my view that they communicate news in a honest manner and down to earth...

                          Cannot stand Sky News or those presenters. Too bias for me and sometimes what comes out of their mouths is just beyond belief. My opinion and so I never watch them.

                          I haven't watched sky...but I've heard Paul Murray is very good. He should be on the ABC. Very true...Tavi. Professional newsreaders and hosts are the best. Not egotistical airheads...

                          From my observations, the ABC, Channel Nine and Ten are very biased towards the left of politics and unfortunately do not always report political news in the correct context. SKY News are not biased as their reporting is actual fact whether blue team or red team and that's what we Australians should expect. THE TRUTH!!!

                          Cannot agree. I have watched it and found it biased and their attitude seems to show them as superior to others. However, I agree, the other channels are no better. One has to decide for oneself what is truth or twisted for their own agenda. I rarely watch the news and as over the past 2 years it has all been about Covid basically it was a "why bother" attitude from me.

                          You might need to update this photo. Lisa moved on to channel 10 (The Project) Karl now has Alli, Brookie, Richard, Tim & Alex. I throughly enjoy watching them every morning. Great wit & very funny & enjoyable.
