I was flying from AL to Sydney when I was in an incident. The guy next to me started jiggling. At first I though he was listening to music, then realised he was sick. I called the stewardess and told her. The next thing was the classic announcement "is there a doctor on the plane". They found one, and he and the stewardess started trying to help the guy. The stewardess turned to me and said "the doctor needs more space, and the only spare seat is in first class, would you mind moving?" So in the spirit of helping out I made the sacrifice and moved to first class for the rest of the trip.

Waiting on a miracle? I see them around me every day! I will just mention one because I have the first beautiful flower on a new Christmas Cactus plant. I notice the intricate and perfect details in flowers. No matter where they're from in the world flowers are perfectly made with identically sized petals and intricately dotted or .... I can't even describe them. They're just SO miraculously detailed. And scented beautifully as a bonus:)

That is called a broad head arrow or "Bear" head. Very expensive and very lethal. Judging from the size it comes from a crossbow which is totally illegal where I come from. I have archery equipment. I don't hunt but I do go out bush to practice for the sport of it. If you miss a target with the types of powerful bows that are on the market today, the arrow could end up anywhere.

We don't eat at a dinner table . Unless it's out at family 's for an event . My son was one of the worst fussiest non eaters as a child so to avoid all the stresses and the direct eye contact of sitting across from eachother ... we ended up with the t.v on for distraction and he had his little stool pulled up to the edge of the coffee table while I relaxed on the couch. Scandalous yes I know ,but it was the only way mealtimes wouldn't end up with a plate of food thrown at the wall in frustration. :/

I read of a couple who spent the whole year cruising from one boat to another, according to where the boat was cruising too. Now that sounds lovely, meals all cooked & prepare for you. I would do a cruise that would take in Samoa (not the AMERICAN side) as it is where my husband & I renewed our Wedding Vows & we had a marvelous time. We started off at Fiji for a week then we went to Samoa. I even had a Puletasi (traditional wedding dress) made for me who was the lady working in the souvenir shop. She also happened to be a seamstress in her "spare" time. It was lovely & my husband wore the traditional dress code for a man. We still have them, can't say that they still fit but we still have the photo's & memories of that wonderful holiday. We did that trip back in about 1995 & next month we celebrate our 65th year of being married.

My father in law passed, followed by my partner a few months later. I inherited my partner's share of his fathers' estate as well as my partner's insurance. Did it change me? My sons' have received a decent sum each, I have helped out family and friends but I stopped helping people out months ago. I have not bought a new car, gone on holiday, or been on a shopping spree with my money.

I think happiness is a lifelong journey, you will always have great moments to look back on but I never knew until I got to this period in my life what it truly means to be happy, to see my grandkids smiling/laughing and discovering new and different things highlights my life every day, being a part of that is truly a gift

chef on tv? why wud anyone beleive ANYthing they are saying, they are trying to make a living. they r not the real source of truth. almost all foods have an amt of protein, so are just more easily digested than others. Animal proteins are very hard to digest, and can't be used by the body until they are broken down to amino acids. (this takes alot of energry away from other thigns the body has to do) ...its why we feeel like we are going into a food coma, after a huge (usually protein meal), all energy is diverted from all but essential body organs. Most plant proteins don't take nearly as much to digest, except for beans. Not only are they hard to digest, they are also hard on the kidneys (like animal proteins are). Bottom line is, if you still want to eat meat, cut down substantially. We do not need the amt of animal products we eat these days. U will save ur kidneys and be much healthier. Kidney disease is fast becoming No. 1 killer. This protein business is largely a myth, promoted and driven by, give you 1 guess by who? Doctors are only human - When I was 60-62yrs I had been feeling less than 100% and had been to my doctors multiple times, with a ton of tests - Blood test just about every visit. After more than 12mths of this I ended up in A & E Hospital with very low body temp and was having "Rigors attacks". After many hours the Hospital staff confirmed I had UTI. Doctors NIL - Hospital 1. Doctors DONT GET IT REAL all the time (Just sometimes)

Definitely. I was sitting at the back of the bus with my best friend when these 2 guys got on and one sat next to me. I was reading a comic and as I turned the page he said "I haven't finished reading that page" so I let him finish reading it. He asked what I was doing the following Saturday and I told him my baby brother was having a Birthday party. Apparently he looked for me on the day and couldn't find me. The following week my friend and I were walking in town when a bus stopped, where they aren't meant to, and he got off the bus with his mate. We started going out that day. I was 13 and he was 15. When he actually saw where I lived he told me he used to live at the bottom of our street and saw a young girl collecting the newspaper from the front lawn one morning and couldn't believe it was actually me. We got married when he turned 21 and we were together until he passed away from cancer just before his 63rd Birthday. It's been almost 5 years now and I still miss him. Especially his big warm hugs.

This is a bit of a mixed up discussion topic. Mental health issues and domestic violence are two different things. Mental health issues do not lead to domestic violence. Domestic violence is about power and control, and can be exhibited in many ways, not just physically, and not just by men towards their partners. It does however frequently lead to mental health issues for those who have experienced it or been exposed to it. Getting adequate and timely support for mental health issues, for men, women, and children is not as easy as people seem to think it is. There are long waiting lists to get the appropriate help, and sometimes it can be difficult to even understand, yet explain to another person what the problem is. I agree that boys are a bit confused as to what their roles in society are meant to be at the moment. The rules keep changing, and people keep telling them that they are \u201cbad\u201d, because they were born make. Especially if they are white.

Excuse me!? I think you will find most long distance truckies are the most considerate and consistently safest drivers on the road. It is the impatient arrogance and rudeness of other road users that cause the accidents and other issues on the road! These giant machines weigh an awful lot (tons) and they require both room and space to stop their vehicles and/or turn corners, especially suburban intersections. They also have large areas of 'blind spots' where they simply cannot see cars & other vehicles - just like blind spots in a ar, on.y bigger. If you have any concerns re truck drivers and their driving, might I suggest you do a little research and take a bit more caution on the road to ensure your own safety and that of the truck drivers, too ??

I hope that the people that you mentioned are just plain frightened by the prospect of suicide. I'm sure they don't understand just how hopeless life can seem for some. Many people that I knew thought I was doing just fine. I had almost everything that I wanted, like so many people, but I came a couple of doctors visits from taking my own life. Circumstances, being what they were at the time, left me feeling so lost and hopeless that I couldn't see any way out. A good doctor and some very good drugs no have me living again with some hope for the future. No, these feelings are no joke and need to be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible. Hi APB I live in a Ryman Retirement Village called Keith Park in Hobsonville in Auckland. We have a 3 bed apartment, two bathrooms, and a patio, total 112sq meters and we have two car parks. Our village will not be finished for at least another 12 months, We are ground floor for our two cats who also enjoy living here. There is nothing beige here, the building look bright and modern. The best part of my day is after I have fed my cats, made the bed, had breakfast, done the dishes, swept the floor, dusted, done a couple of loads of washing and hung it out, ironed, either walked or used the treadmill, had lunch and cleaned up, pulled a few weeds, gone shopping if I need anything, fed the cats, prepared dinner, checked my emails, done the dishes, checked the bills, had supper then lights out. Then I may be able to go to bed without any cats, in which case I am able to sleep in any position I want. Tomorrow is another day.

NEVER EVER use "finance" / "investment" companies. They're all run by greedy people solely interested in filling their own pockets. Unless you can afford to lose money, also never invest in the markets either (share market, money market, etc.). Completely avoid fad idiocies like bitcoin. Simply invest money with a well-known, long-established, large brand bank, at their local branch, using a normal term deposit investment. Yes, you may well make less interest on the investment than some investment company offers, but your money is far safer and cannot go down ... the higher the interest rate = the higher risk. As a side note, in New Zealand, the government does now guarantee deposits up to something like $100,000 per investment held with licensed companies - mainly banks, but there are a few long-established investment companies too. So even if the bank / company suddenly goes bankrupt, your deposit is safe and returned (eventually).

I'm in that age group and I built my home so it would be suitable for living in as I age. Downstairs has wider doors for wheelchair if needed and no steps. Dont need to go upstairs. Hopefully I will be able to get home help. My sister and I cared for our parents up until the end. They brought us up, so we should care for parents. If its not possible then so be it. I have seen friends go into some very caring nursing homes but there are some that I definitely would not go to. I have had discussions regarding that stage of life, death and funeral as well. Communication is so important.
