The trees is the issue that interests me. The information below, even though correct, I think it is very doubtful that too many trees will live long lives. They will most likely be planted by the developer, but am I correct in thinking that lots of people worry about ongoing problems with large trees in their yards ie plumbing costs roots in sewer lines and falling branches and therefore once the sale is complete the tree will be uprooted. Trees and other plants help cool...

Does anyone else think that First Aid should be compulsory in all high schools? 2 of my children did their first aid course in Victoria then when we moved to NSW my 2 younger children were not able to do it at school. I personally believe that this should be a free course for high school students as many do outside activities such as sport or do part time work. You never know when it will be needed to help another person

I have lost three close loves ones this year and almost everyone I hear from is in the same boat. I'm not just talking older people either. I'm hearing of so many younger, healthy people suddenly dying. It's so very sad. My friend was telling me of the procession of funerals she has been to this year and the last one was over two days as the cemetary were too busy to intern his casket on the day of the funeral! Is anyone else here seeing the same kind of thing?
In Australia rents are extremely high and interest rates have been low for 9 years now interest rates are rapidly increasing each month resulting in rental property owners massively increasing rents further. I recently heard on the news that in Queensland people who were paying $600 a week rent are now paying just under $ 1200 a week rent due to recent interest rate increases. Rents have always included mortgage interest rates, council rates, and insurance, and...

We put up decorations in December, not earlier than the 6th or so.We do a little at a time and the decorations are all up a few days before Christmas. This year I heard that people had decorations up in October. Ism't this too early and doesn't it lose its magic?

Are iced fruit Christmas cakes out of fashion? Are Pavlovas, cheese cakes etc more popular
Do you get Christmas gift cards or do you wait until there s enough points for a bank redemption? I think Rewardia should make it easier to earn points because it takes too long, especially at Christmas when we all need to be cashed up. If you write a topic about Christmas you could win 1000 points so get writing and have a safe holiday season.

How do people deal with petty people? I usually laugh at them and then brush them off but someone on one of the games on here is getting really nasty about things. I blocked a player on a game recently. Why? Because all they wanted to do was post their (mostly) snide comments about other players which, because they are so talkative, it was putting me off the game and I couldn't focus. They seemed to find out that I had blocked them as soon as I did it so they had a rant about...
I live Gladstone, Qld. Are Indian Doctors taking over your town too, I've changed my personal doctor 7 times in the last 4 years and have only been able to get an Indian Doctor, are there no WHITE Aussie doctors left.
Don't you wish that there was a search feature for general discussions etc so you can find something you know is there or you have seen or just to check that you don't make a duplicate topic? I saw some great topics that I wanted to comment on and I did with some and while I was in other topics, I read references to other topics and thought "that sounds like fun, I will see if I can find that thread". The problem is now I can't find the topics I intended to post on and nor...
Is there anybody who is in charge of spell checking/editing the content here? Some of the daily discussion questions are so badly worded it's hard to understand the actual question.
Did you attend an Anzac Day Service ? What do you think about Anzac Day. I believe Anzac Day is a very important part of Australian History. This year there has been a number of protesters, protesting against Anzac Day and a number of War Memorials attacked and damaged. This is not good I believe, what do you believe ?
E-mail landed at 4.30pm inviting me to a survey, clicked on the link at 4.33pm and the survey was CLOSED. Rewardia are taking us for total idiots again .....
... to see how long it takes Rewardia to remove this forum post. I have made several posts recently that have been critical of Rewardia's lack of duty of care in ensuring that they don't post surveys that error out, or that you spend 15 minutes or more on only to be screened out. Surprise surprise, these critical posts all disappear. Hopefully at least some users will read this one before it too disappears down the black hole
Seeing it takes waaaay much longer to get to $50 than it has ever done . . . . Rewardia should also allow a $20 cashout to incentivize Rewardians.
We are using systems and organisations that are well past their use by date, Politics, money ideas, infrastructure, just to start the list all belong in centuries past.
in the past two days I have noted ads interrupting playing the Blocks game. Am I alone? It is driving me to no longer participate.
Has anyone reached 1 million or above points in total in Rewardia? When is the best time to cash out? How much cash would you get for 1 million points? Interested to see how long people save up in points, before cashing in.
Why do you think that party will win? What does that Party have to offer that the other doesn't offer. Do Australians want a change of Government in there country in 2022? Are people sick of the current Australian Government and are ready for change?
Late last year I tore 3 tendons in my left shoulder moving 3 meters of garden soil from my front gate to my vegetable garden in the backyard. This causes constant severe pain in my left shoulder and arm which comes and goes.. In January 2022 I had a cortisone injection however this just made the pain worse and more severe which constantly lingers and never goes away and constantly feels like my left shoulder and arm are being crushed. In desperation; a week ago I...
Based upon how much Rewardia pays for surveys and how they handle things when we try to obtain our missing points, is Rewardia respecting us?
Prior to Russia invading Ukraine the USA sent over 10,000 of their troops to Poland to defend Ukraine and Nato also sent in thousands of troops to defend Ukraine, all of who are stationed in Poland and surrounding countries. Now that Russia IS invading and attacking Ukraine the USA President Joe Biden is saying he does NOT want to go to war with Russia and will NOT send the troops into Ukraine to help defend Ukraine. Therefore,...

Over a period of 4 consecutive days, New South Wales has had 3 days of over 1000 recorded infected people within a 24 hour period AND one day of over 800. This virus has spread from NSW into Victoria, Queensland, New Zealand and the odd few cases in other States. Numbers within Victoria are increasing. In Queensland...

NO country in this world can afford to keep its international borders closed much longer; meaning before long they will ALL open up the borders. NO government knows how to properly contain, control, or eradicate the covid-19 virus; meaning face masks indoors and outdoors in ALL countries will become permanent once borders are open. Education will ALL take place online to stop spread of virus. ALL shop fronts will close and ALL shopping...

What's the go with the points for this game? Gone from ten points down to six for a complete game? NOT fair Rewardia. Yet another activity we get diddled on. Between this, surveys, picture puzzles and trivia this site isn't even worth using any more
I have a disability and my brother is always having a go at me and wants things done his way and his former wife was very good with me and when they were together if my brother was bossing me around I didn't talk to him but talked to her - and it caused friction. Whenever I go to the gold coast I always get emotional when I see my former sister in law because she was really good with me - and I loved her like an actual sister.

How does one get through the holidays when the love of your life passed away suddenly? Family lives plane ride away so that is out. Friends have their families so you do not want to intrude. Not putting any decorations up...just not into it. Any suggestions?

What are members of the community going to do to celebrate the Christmas season with family & friends
When is the best time to put up Christmas decorations and the idle date to take them down. As everyone has a different opinion on when to do Christmas decorations in different countries.
Family traditions are an important part of our Christmas celebrations. What are some of your family Christmas traditions?
Sometimes I find it difficult to get a gift that can make people appreciate mostly due to that they already own one or not interesting enough. But I discover that since COVID people tend to like plants as gift. Any take for this?
Given we have hardly any cases in the country now, if all stays the same it looks like Christmas here will not be too different from usual We are out of lockdowns and restrictions are lifting all the time. The employment situation is still not great, with quite a few needing govt support, until they can get back on their feet. Things are starting to pick up locally, so hopefully this will be soon. I will be spending less this year on presents, as I need to save due to a...
Hi All, just wanted to know your views and how you feel about Christmas this year with all the uncertainty we have had with covid. Personally no matter what year it is I feel it has lost its "magic", it has become very commercialised with retailers advertising their Christmas sales weeks before the actual event and in doing so I think this puts lots of pressure on many people to buy gifts for others, which they cant really afford. Now fast forward to this year, as...
I have a boyfriend who is from Africa and I'm white nz women and he has lived in nz for 30 yrs but gets alot of racial comments even from nz people. It's so sad that people worry about the colour of someone's skin. He is part of nz like I am.
With all the stress associated with being able to afford Christmas gifts, I and my and extended family all try to make an original present - like a hand done painting - sprinkled with 'gold' dust you can get from the dollar shop, home made granola or just painted glass bottles with dried herbs from the garden. So much more satisfying than an expensive present and much more appreciated. Lots of fun as well. :)
The aim is to remove all the cards in the least number of moves. However the points awarded don't reflect this. Why?
It has been awhile I thought I would update on my progress. I am 8 pounds shy to be in onderland as they call it. I began at 258 pounds when I started. I am at 209 pounds now
