and only one more wish ..... " That Rewardia pay more for Surveys and Games." .......................... Ummmmmmm.

Sorry but I do not have any personal questions that I am afraid of being asked so I answer them and fire back at them a personal question they may be uncomfortable at answering! Tit for Tat!

I'm lucky that I am a multi millionaire, manage over a thousand staff, make all decisions re labour, training and hiring. My companies turnover is in excess of a Billion dollars annually. I do all the shopping and I am the sole shopping decision maker. I also like giving input re my use of mobiles and broadband both for business and home. Also I regulary watch and go to many films, and also watch TV and use and go to my Bank every week. Yes I do have All insurance products also. I am young, have many children and don't mind them doing surveys either. I also travel for business and vacation many time a year and know nearly all airlines. I regret I do not qualify re surveys re Cleaning products as I don't do that as I have hired cleaning help !!!

There have been so many stupid people, with such fragile egos, out there and everyone wants to prove they have the biggest d@*k! So you have whoever it is who is running the White House, because we all know that Biden couldn’t find his butt with both hands and a flashlight, who is pushing all of the LGBTQ+++++ crap, destroying the future of America, who is pushing the hatred between Jews and Arabs, Russia and Ukraine, China and the World, and doing everything they can to line their own pockets, with no care whatsoever about the Nation! Then you have the Europeans, who have been such big powers years ago, who still think they are top of the mountain, when they can’t even take care of their own people! The New World Order, funded by Soros and his Ilk, who have way more money than they can ever spend, and are just bored to death and decided they want to play in politics to get back at every perceived insult or slight that has happened to them in their lives, just spoiled 80 year old “spoiled children”, who have decided that if “You won’t play by the rules I just made up, I will take my ball and go home!” Sheer stupidity! If the governments of the world would just work together, there is enough money, assets and skills to give every person in the world, clean water, good food, a roof over their heads, abd safety from the ills out there! But no, EVERYONE wants to be in charge and control their own little corner of their world!

Last Night, a DJ saved My life is a song (a very popular song released by an American Musical Group - called Indeed in the dying years of Disco in the USA) - sold over 1,000,000 copies on 45 formats. I use music to link 'pleasant memories' in my mind - the safest place to hold fond memories that are near and dear too ME - in MY MIND - because I CAN visit my fond memories in my mind at any time (day or night).

I think it is dreadful to do this to intelligent animals be they dogs or cats and it should be treated as animal cruelty

I was never close to my parents or my immediate family on my father side or my mother side. I went on to become a runaway when I was a teen-ager - and never saw my parents or immediate family EVER again! Anyway, a very bad warning health sign is you stated your father recently fell - you need to schedule an appointment with a geriatrician and neurologist ASAP. After the health data comes back from both medical doctors - you and father need to have a heart-to-heart talk about his living on his OWN and any adjustments NEEDED for him to continue to live on his OWN! FYI: I turned 79 - yesterday - I see a geriatrician and neurologist - once a year - to make annual adjustments pertaining to the status of my health - so I can continue to live on my OWN!

Australia should have this nationwide...there is no excuse...we waste our taxes on rubbish...lets feed and love our kids

Renting is a problem when you let to many foreigner into a country who buy up properties and leave thise homes empty.. you know who these people are.

there are plenty of places for people to get food for nothing eg. Food Bank, Salvation Army, etc.there is no need for stealing, they set bad examples to the younger crowd

Stalin once said if you tell a lie make it a big lie because people will believe a big lie. Darwin came up with the theory of evolution, and it was only a theory as there has never been any proof. With the advances in DNA this theory has been blown out of the water and yet it is taught in schools as a fact. What did Darwin gain from what is a lie? Fame! Climate change is another lie that started as Global Warming but when it became evident that the world was not warming it was changed to climate change. The CSIRO know it isn't a fact but if they announce that the money tap will be turned off. Malcolm Turnbull pushes climate change, and why wouldn't he as he and his son are making a lot of money from green technologies. As with anything, follow the money. Just look at the money being made by people making and installing solar panels, electric cars and batteries. And all this rubbish needs replacing every 10 or 20 years. It is one huge con and many people have been sucked in either because they didn't really think about it or are too afraid to disagree. How on earth can mankind change the weather? There is the sun and moon with all their effects, undersea volcanoes spewing hot water that heats our oceans altering the currents which effects the rain we get. Climate change has been blamed for the recent floods which is totally incorrect, they were caused by El Nino which has been known by the South Americans for thousands of years. People should ask questions and not simply accept the rubbish pushed as FACT.

I am NOT a people person - I enjoy being ALONE without ever feeling LONELY! Furthermore, there is a BIG difference between ALONE and being LONELY!

We have no right to judge anyone as we do not know the complete story. There could be many reasons for a mother to leave, she may be putting her kids first, who knows? It would be such a hard decision. We have not walked in their shoes. Anybody who has made the decision deserves our support as well as the children and other parent. The last thing they need is others judging. How will that help a family?

I do editing and proofreading for work, and I never correct spelling and grammar when I’ve not been asked to do so. I think it is rude and can be a form of bullying and belittling someone. If the spelling or grammar is wrong but the meaning is clear, there’s no need to annoy the writer with corrections. And if no one ever made mistakes, I would have a lot less work!

At the moment it is convincing those selfish people who still refuse to be vaccinated against Covid. If we are ever to get a hold on this disease or become immune we must all be vaccinated so at least we stand a chance of surviving. Millions of precious people have died and maybe they don't belong to the unvaccinated but they did belong to others who loved and mourn their passing. Too many millions of others now suffer life long health issues because they caught the disease. Most of those I know claim "God protects me" .Well who protected the thousands of Christians and other believers who died? Others claim their body is their property and yet stick strange chemicals and other suspicious mixtures into their arms and up their noses and eat so called 'natural foods which are so chemically modified in order to make them edible. I am vaccinated but even catching the milder version now circulating will affect me because I already have severe respiratory problems and had lung cancer surgery. I know the unvaccinated will give all their silly, selfish reasons and I won't bother reading them because my number one issue is to live to see 2023!

And the sign said "Long-haired freaky people Need not apply" So I tucked my hair up under my hat And I went in to ask him why He said, "You look like a fine upstandin' young man I think you'll do" So I took off my hat and said, "Imagine that Huh, me workin' for you"

and pedestrians too...we could tax animals even...dogs using the footpaths...what about wheelchairs and motorised buggies?...kids triikes too...think of all the revenue!!!...we could make lots of money and crush everyone under our will....fantastic...we could tattoo numbers on people's heads....and if they didn't pay their taxes we could gather them all up and keep them in camps..... God I love discussion pages!

Like a lot of others, I get screened out of countless surveys - certainly there are far more outs than acceptances. There is absolutely no doubt that the main reason I get the 'cold shoulder' is my age. I am 77. Being rejected used to annoy me but I have come to accept that the so called marketing experts aren't interested in considered opinions from us older folk and believe that the world functions around the upwardly mobile with more money than sense. That's okay, they pay their money and get what they want but I wish they wouldn't waste everyone's time in this manner.

Yes but the system of getting a jab needs sorting out I am 88 in a couple of days and yet younger people are being done ahead of me

I think we have no idea what we are eating. How could we know? We aren't there where our food is grown or even worse where it's produced, handled and packaged. Unless you grow your own food and raise your own livestock, you don't know what you're eating. Even then, what part does the environment and the feed for the livestock impact the final product? Almost everything from the air we breathe to the items we interact with to the food we eat affects us. I'm more concerned with the electronics and all the things we can't see. I have proof that the electricity in our homes can kill us, even our pets and trees. Now there is so much more than just the electricity we use. All the devices we use affect us, and I feel we are forced to use them out of necessity. I hate mobile phones, but almost every company wants you to download an app which I think is for tracking purposes, but they make it appear to be for out benefit. When do companies EVER do anything just to save us money? That doesn't even make sense. I feel like we are lambs being sent to the slaughter and everyone just follows along. I try not to, but sometimes we HAVE to in order to do what we have to do. They assume everyone has a cell phone and internet. We should be able to make that choice and not be forced into using things that we don't even understand how they work! Maybe I'm just too old for this. Does anyone agree or am I paranoid? I've been around long enough to know not to trust everything. You can't even believe what you hear and see now with the AI which is another subject I'd like to avoid!

So much goes on in the racing industry. It is all about money and greed. It happens with horse racing and greyhound racing, rodeos and any form of animal exploitation. It is always about the money they can make out of an animal and when it is spent and considered no longer profitable, it is discarded. These animals are sentient beings, not commodities.

Thanks for sharing this. My mom was born in 1931, told us about the foods that they ate. Looks yummy, I will try it in memory of mom. RIP sweet Marie, mom passed 04/13/1995.

Wowser , will be right over , I'll bring desserts ,😋😋😋🍽️🍽️🍰

We had the split day in Junior Kindergarten in 1986. We went for the morning half....Senior Kindergarten in 1987 we went at lunch for the afternoon half. This makes sense for JK and SK because you get the child used to going to school. When Grade 1 came in 1988...I ran way from school every single day until Halloween at first recess. Why? My intuition, which I obviously did not realize at the time, was telling me to GET OUT OF THERE!!!!!! Needless to say, kids NOWADAYS should ALL be homeschooled because the predatory "teachers" pushing radical leftist propaganda is beyond out of control now. My niece will be homeschooled by my sister and this is already happening anyways even before she is school-aged. She is far more intelligent that kids her age and she has NEVER use a tablet, phone, NOTHING. She plays outside, she plays inside, she reads books, she helps in the kitchen, she goes on adventures outside, etc. This is TRUE development, not glorified babysitting and brainwashing by questionable leftist predators in an prison-like "school"...no thanks. If you WANT to have a child, you should comprehend HOW to properly raise said child and that involves being intelligent enough to know the public school system is massively fglawed, pushing radical leftist agendas, ran by the same evil ones who run Hellyweird, scripted pro sports, the music industry, central banking, and big pharma. And, remember, McGraw Hill, the company who makes all the textbooks and provides the "content" TO BE LEARNED...was owned by Robert Maxwell, father of Ghislaine, friend of Jeffrey. When I tell you pedophiles run these institutes, thats no lie.

We are being fed a diet of Violence, Hatred, Cheating, Dishonesty and Greed in every aspect of life. We have a Country, the USA, which, knowingly, elected a Convicted Felon as theur president, we have a Dictator in Russia who illegally invaded a Sovereign Nation, Ukraine, we have an Israeli Prime Minister and his entire Government and the Armed Forces committing Genocide and just as the Israelis did before are annexing and occupying parts of Palestine - as if the Palestinians were not betrayed by theur alleged 'Protector' the UK when it in collision with the USA stole most of the Land of Palestine - they'd been there for 1000s of years before the Isrealites were freed from slavery by Ancient Egyptians, the Illegal invasion an occupation of Souther Lebanon - another Sovereign Nation - then the Convicted Felon President of the USA illegally attacked Iran. Berween 1932 and 2026 the World has been subjected to almost endless Criminality by Politicians from countries which claim to be Peace Loving! Murderers, Pillagers, Dissemblers, Liars, Cheats rule today so it is no wonder Cinema has become no different.

There are so many people that vote for Labor even though they really don't know why so they are following a cult?

I had worked in the Catskills as a waiter in the 1970s . One of my co waiters was a renowned adult film later in life. I told my friends but not one ever believed me. I kept saying why would I make this up.

Realising I’m not as young as I thought. Not having enough energy to multitask as I did when I was younger. Looking at myself in the mirror, my reflection and seeing my mother look back at me. Yep I’m getting old

When I was about 8 or 9, I would take my pennies and my little sister down to the corner store and we would pick out penny candy, It was an adventure. It was fun. Today my adventures are of a more maturre variety but they still are fun. Spending time in thrift shops to uncover stocking stuffers is fun. Swimming with my grands and joining in their imaginative games is fun. My oldest daughter rides roller coasters for fun. All three of my daughters take turns creating Christmas gifts that make mom cry and THEY call it fun. Watching my youngest cat stalk lizards like he is the KING of the jungle is fun. (Don't worry, he never catches them.) Going out to get potato chips and dip (which is not recommended on my diet) is fun. You have to find your fun and not let go of it.

Your thoughts are absolutely right if someone who does a good turn to another person is completely non egoistic! Nothing expect in return for doing such good deed! Or just not the person/persons who want to boast about how much good they do to others! No money can buy a good deed done to someone! It’s a pure feeling!

It's annoying but here in Adelaide there's no law against parking their car in front of your house. You do not own the street area & unless the Council has a reason for not parking there, then you don't stand a chance. It's very frustrating.

Not me, APB! This old lady prefers a paper map, paper book, and talking to a person on the phone, or face to face! When someone tells me to 'use AI' to figure out a problem, I grab a pen and paper and figure it out myself! I'm keeping my brain! I'm smarter than technology because I refuse to use it! Oh, Yeah, Your Brain: "Use It Or Lose It"! 😂

The only reason an appliance blows fuses is because it draws too much power, meaning there is a fault somewhere inside it, a short or shorted component. While a power surge can damage your appliance, and cause it to short out, if you experienced a power surge a lot of other items in your house would likely have been damaged as well. Demand that the dryer company fixes you dryer and if they don’t go to the consumer ombudsman or threaten to take them to VCAT or an equivalent court wherever you live. It’s not expensive to do. Oh, and another good idea is to buy an individual surge buster to plug into your socket first before you plug the appliance in to protect it. Available at Bunnings or any good hardware store

You are lucky you had a toilet to use. In my day it was the dunny down the yard. They didn't have toilets mostly, it was a hole in the ground. Then came the little house down the yard with a wooden box over a hole in the ground, which was filled over with dirt & a new hole made. Then came the big drums in the hole & the Dunny/Sanitary cart came along & exchanged the drums over. My life goes a long way back. We used torn up paper (usually the phone pages) or newspapers for toilet paper.

Well sorry but I would not allow them to do that , Tell the parents you will come to their place from now on lol See what happens

Start with the parents, ask why a 12 year old is out at 3am. Why courts are letting them out on bail and then they are arrested that afternoon on the same charge. Why criminal gangs are getting away with paying kids to steal cars for them to use in Fire-bombing business that are operating on their turf. I don't have any solution except make Youth Crime a federal offense as it's not being solved at state level.

Dragged to church for 16 years, now an atheist for 36. Never forced my sons' into religion and they've turned out to be hard working, moral young men without it.

How disgusting this behaviour is. Sometimes it is because of a medical condition or illicit drug taking. Sometimes people are just downright abusive. The internet has made society very unsociable and aggressive. Not to mention all the other stuff that has changed our society. Manners and respect - where the hell is it.

I never had/knew this kind of family life. When I was too young to remember, my dad took my sister and I, along with my mom's housekeeper, and moved us away while mom was in the hospital. If I had known this, I would have hated the man. When that didn't work out, we lived with housekeepers and stepmothers, along with their children. Mom found us after dad died, but within a few months she had been murdered in her Los Angeles apartment. She was 62 years old. I had spent 5 days with her. This was my childhood. I'm happy you knew the love of a close family! 🥰 Later I learned he had married before my mom, and had 3 other children. My mom had married, and had 1 son, who we think killed her for drug money. I never met any of the other 4.

And some not so attractive people can have such a good heart inside that they eventually appear attractive outside too! I've known people with a beautiful outside appearance that, after I got to know them, they actually started looking ugly on the outside for their evil inside. Jehovah God is looking for, and directing us to through his angels, goodhearted people since the end is drawing near, just like before the flood in Noah's day! ☺️

I bank with Macquarie. They dont have branches or ATMs but i can go to any bank ATM and withdraw cash without paying any fee. They pay me 2.75% on my transaction account and 5% on my savings and they dont have any silly requirements like making desposits every month. Best bank for my needs.

I don't use slang words that are meaningless in their context. I prefer using the English language, which is confusing enough already. ;-D

Know Jesus Know Peace No Jusus you're in trouble

I start with Azure. Then take the shortest time ones. I am so tired of the long ones. I finish them, then they say I didn't, and give me compensation. I send in screenshots where they say I finished them to Rewardia, and Rewardia says it looks like I didn't finish it, when I have proof. So no wasting time on long ones.

I hope this Middle East war doesn't go on for too much longer as this is affecting prices and causing pressure for so many, particularly farmers and the transport industry. Our household feels pressure when the stock market falls and so does our superannuation.

Working with the general public is a thankless job the majority of the time. But it takes only one person to notice you and give you some words of appreciation to make your day. A real smile, some words of encouragement or acknowledgement goes a long way. And believe me ,they remember you. I know I did.

If it's more expensive for you then why aren't they paying for all the extra or giving you any money. You also mention the extra work, why are you doing it all? Busy or not, your "Adult Children" should be helping you a lot more, They are taking advantage because you do every thing for them. They don't work 24/7 and they could pitch in by giving you money and doing some of those chores. Partially it's your fault as your not saying anything to them. You want things to change, speak up and set some rules, your house after all, so take charge.

I feel your frustration; I too have hearing loss and can relate to what you're going through. Something that works like a charm for me that I've found effective: Create a Voice mail message 'Hello you've reached ######### Please 'text' me as I'm hard of hearing and occasionally miss calls, if you don't text me, don't be offend when your call is not answered, thank you.

I’m grateful for everything, except those self centred bastards that won’t give me what I want.

We had no problem until the Liberal Lite woke asses came in and then Labor. We need to stop immigration. Send back those who are out to hurt the rest of us and dont assimilate. Climate change is just some crap from the WEF, WHO and all those acrinyms. We need to band together as aussies Im voting One Nation, if you dont agree with me just shut up.....

No idea. Never been a tourist. People are people, and countries are countries - there are good, bad, and stupid people in every country.

As I get older (I am eighty years old) - it became EASIER for me to make friends (as I became less judgmental in my social (personal)) life!

I think men these days are over it,we have women that look like rhinos with 5 kids to different dads saying men need to be a list of things that are in fantasy land.We also have men that are accused of being stalkers for even saying hello to a lady they see.In essence men are just over the whole dating scene.its very sad actually

My laptop doesn't meet the requirements for the upgrade so I'm gonna just keep on using it as long as possible. If it starts having issues I'll buy a new one with the newest version of Windows.

Is there anything wrong with buying a car for status symbol? NO (your money - you do 'whatever' you please with your money)!

The education system is nothing more than a left leaning brain washing scheme. The teachers have no authority over the pupils who do pretty much what they like. There is no discipline or routine and nothing worthwhile is being taught. One of my children had a subject called pastoral care. I thought it was spelt "pasture" and wondered why they were learning about animal husbandry. I never did find out exactly what he learnt but his children have been taught about the stolen generation, how we stole their land, the world will burn up via climate change and you can be gender neutral or gender fluid and that there are more than 2 sexes. When I told my 10 year old grandson he might like Mork & Mindy he was quite concerned telling me many old TV shows aren't appropriate today. Fancy loading that on the shoulders of a 10 year old. In my opinion it's nothing more than child abuse. They are children and should be able to enjoy a childhood free of concern and unnecessary worry.

At this rate, by 2030 they’ll be putting up Christmas decorations right after Easter. I’m half-expecting to see Santa riding the Easter Bunny down aisle 3.

why are you single with 3 children, didn't your parents teach you how to keep your legs closed. I would have thought you'd have applied for after just one child.

Get rid of the plethora of unnecessary over-paid management types, and lower the product / service prices. Don't waste piles of money on ridiculously priced advertising company campaigns that tell customers nothing about the product / service. Don't buy / rent hideously over-priced buildings to operate from (including NOT renting shops in over-priced shopping malls). Don't get greedy #1: Stick to the business' core products / services. Don't try branching out into other weird sidelines that have nothing to do with the business. Don't get greedy #2. There is no need for any company to "take over the world". The business does not need a billion branches all over the country / world.

as grandparents we moved in with our daughter to share the costs and help her with the grandkids, putting us in a position where occasionally we can help others, if you are in Australia I know there is plenty of help if you ask, don't be ashamed of struggling everybody is, the meaning of life for me is the little things, when I retired some 5 years ago I made it a mission to be the reason someone smiled Everday, I have succeeded so far but for me its a great way to cope with the world we live in

I live in Australia and I don't understand why an ordinary citizen like myself who has worked his whole life and never received any sort of government benefit has to apply for a pension and yet a politician gets one automatically when he/she retires without having to do any sort of means test. Is this fair or unfair?

everyone should ride motorbikes - less costs, less congestion, easier to park. They would be better car drivers at the end of their time on a bike too, through more awareness of other road users

No I don't see them. I would have thought that unless you have a special permit you wouldn't be allowed to operate them at night. It sounds like there might have been an illegal activity going on.

Here is MY list of a few things, society cannot take from you (but will try). Your fire, your life skills, your effort, your ideas, your common sense/street smarts, your reactions, your perspective, your life experiences, your determination, your self-respect, your knowledge, your uniqueness, and your poise under pressure!

I honestly don't know. I am trying hard to pay off our cards, but our debt did not come from living too well, but simply having to pay bills. My husband had to have operations & could not work or get unemployment because he had his own business, so we accrued debt from medical & other bills. I worked, but it wasn't enough. I can't wait until it's all paid off!! I look forward to that freedom!

I’m also of the mind that ‘happiness comes from within’ living one’s life with Gratitude 🙏 and with Joy in everything you do, attracts happiness and abundance!

My partner of 24 years passed suddenly on the 30th January. We had him lying in state at home and a fantail flittered outside the window behind him. Two weeks later a fantail flew into the lounge and sat on the ceiling pendant and continued to follow me throughout the house as I opened all the doors and windows to let it out. It wasn't frantic or chirping, I sat down back down in the lounge, said thank you and it flew in front of my face and then left. Being Maori it is meant to bring news of an upcoming death but my mum who's 75 said it was my partner visiting and regard it as a blessing. So I looked it up and the first article I clicked on was written by a person called Stewart (his name), later that day our son got the mail and there was an envelope addressed to him with a $200 grocery voucher and no return address. Probably a logical explanation but I like the idea that it's him and not conincidental.

AI is in its learning phase of its usage - which is not an excuse (just a fact). However, operating on the assumption (you presented in your 'discussion of the day') - if AI is DUMB - then how 'dumb' are humans (including me) for using AI??

Nothing is whole some any more. Can't even watch a TV series where they promote homosexuality. Not every one is for this.If it wasn't for my husband would not have a TV !

I have all my money in jars, I don't touch them until they are full, I don't have any credit cards and there is never money in my bank, it isn't the Bank of Pop it's the Bank of Jars, I have 17 different jars all different sizes all different purposes, it is amazing how much you can save by putting your change away and I also save my 5 dollar notes for the bigger purchases

and now all the Christians have joined in too...even though this has nothing to do with them..nice!,...how about some bible quotations?...cannot get enough of those suckers...apparently...

we all die one way or another, sickness, accident, murdered, run over by a horse. I grew up in the alcohol {home Brew} enviroment for sixty years, and started drinking at the age of 12, and still not out at 70

Do I think people are raising their kid(s) to be too soft or too uncaring (good question) ...hm. One, I always 'thought' kid(s) were carbon copy of their parents when it comes to pernicious behavior. Two, if kid(s) are too soft or uncaring (that is not on society, but on their parents - aka parents not doing their job - since their parents got the kid - HERE). Last, I don't have any kids (not my issue or concern)!

Is dedicating your 20s to world travel wise... hm... It will help you decided what you want in life. Fewer physical attachments equal more freedom and more travel. You'll get street smart. It will make you a more interesting person. You'll grow culturally. You'll learn to develop your independence and how to be responsible. You'll learn how to manage your money early in life. You won't resent it later in life (not travelling). Last but not least - because you 'really' deserve it (to travel earlier in LIFE).

I wasn't eligible to vote until 21 and that really is the age the human brain starts to gain a bit of sense and maturity, the left want a lower voting age because the kids can be controlled in their thinking at school and have no idea of the realities of surviving in the adult world

WHAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND ABOUT CHRISTMAS WHEN SOME PEOPLE HAVE TO HAVE A TREE THAT HAS BEEN CUT DOWN.EVERY TIME I HEAR WELL MOST OG THE TIME GROUPS OF PEOPLE GO OUT TO PLANT TREES TO HELP CLIMATE CHANGE SO WHY NOT BUY A TREE THAT CAN BE USED FOR YEARS

Gender is not the issue, more like family dynamics is the issue combined with the stereotyping of males. Furthermore, your sample size is too small to draw valid conclusions on gender. In addition, under the scenario you described you can draw invalid generalizations about males. Which has led to the 'myth' of girls (women) are more responsible than boys (men)...hm - even in these politically correct times - males are winning custody of their child or children from their ex-wives - for the first time - in the history of democracies!

We should all consent to politicians having a sabbatical trip to form a barrier to areas that are about to be hit by hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and any other natural disasters, with only a bottle of listerine to sweeten the smell of bullshit coming out of their mouth as they get hit by nature.

you are forgetting those who are wrongly imprisoned and later found not guilty. once you kill someone it's not possible to fix such cases. and there are too many of them these days.

The worst experience I've had with being invisible was a few years ago. I had recently been released from hospital after an accident. I was on crutches and struggling to get into a local mall to do some Christmas shopping. Well, some jerk actually pushed me out of the way so he could go first. Talk about angry, but what was I to do?

Was with my partner for 24 years (he passed this January) and we both never felt the need to get married. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I received my licence at 19 & am now 82, I have never had a speeding ticket, only a small dint in my car in our car park misjudging how close I was to a pole. Another scratch on the front must have been done by someone else when my car was in the shopping centre. Will have to go for my license in three years & not looking forward to it, my husband is due for the second time he passed there last one in flying colours. How many young people with have a record like this, all my children & now grandchildren have been picked up mostly for speed limit fortunately not drink driving, one G Child lost his license for three months after loosing all his points, was rather expensive , fines as well as difficulty in getting to work.

Maybe it's time to remember that country people need bigger vehicles to successfully run their farms, be they meat, fruit, vegetable or other. Without our rural industries the NZ economy would be in a total mess. And of course you are right, big vehicles don't fit in little car-parks and rural people do not go out of their way to annoy town-people so let's just be a little more tolerant please

I am hoping that 2024 will be better than the last few years and I will find a purpose for living again.

Hi I am 70 years of age - was in an IGA store a few weeks ago - noticed signage mentioning CHECKOUT OPERATORS NEEDED - went home made a phone call - have done 2 four hour training shifts and today I am now on the pay roll. HIP HIP HOORAY FOR IGA??

No-one is doing anything...and it is for most part photo ops...and talk fests...anything that is being done that is worthwhile is too little and far too late...I'd like to lay into all of them...in their nice suits..with a baseball bat...useless worthless greedy people who are not only lying to us.. but locking us into a future where we will at first be forced to endure a terrible planet that will in a very short period of time kill us all....the clowns and idiots involved are guilty of crimes that are far worse than any war crime...but nobody will be left to punish them...may they all rot in hell ...was that a bit heavy?

I think the world is being led by the nose by "greenies" who have been taught at school how wonderful and pollution friendly EV's are without sufficient knowledge to think things through for themselves and make rational judgements. I hate to think what will happen to all the worn out batteries in the future, let alone what will happen during a black-out, or a severe dumping of snow on major highways. No way will you stay warm in a car that can't continue turning over. The future possibilities just don't bear thinking about. Common sense and rationalism has gone out the window.

Annoys me they bring in so much rubbish yet I can't find the Easter Bilby around anymore, which is an AUSTRALIAN animal and raises money for the Bilbys! I used to buy them every year and nothing else. Now I can't:/

Yes it has gone too far and plans to go even further. But then I'm nearly 67yr old and came through the 70's and 80's which were not PC at all.

I would much rather sit on a fat soft jolly Santa's knee then a bony hard knobbly one..Oh wait I forgot you can't sit on Santa's knee anymore because that too has been taken away thanks to the woke police.

In New Zealand the minimum wage is $21.20. What has happened is that all essential businesses where staff earn minimum wage (eg petrol stations, supermarkets) have put their prices up. This means that the minimum wage earners are not any better off and those of us earning a little more, but not a lot more than minimum wage are significantly worse off as the prices go up. And, our tax brackets have not moved in years, so if you earn more, you pay more income tax.

because if a benny hill or paul hogan or dave allen came out now they would be hung drawn and quartered

I picked the sport i like, but I would be in a team sport if i were in the Olympics.

Being born and raised in the USA, specifically is San Diego County, California, this has always been home. After both parents died, I learned my grand and great grandparents on my mother's side were born in Turkey! WOW! I didn't know that, and it was a shock, to say the least! Dad was English and German, but I know nothing about him or them. He never talked about anything. 😵‍💫

Sure. Almost anything by Pink Floyd would be great for me. Regardless, it could be anything else. I have the patience to wait for a person.

Reaching out (what was wrong with contacting?); Like (being every other word); As of yet (why not just as yet?). Biggest annoyance is people who say Haitch when the name of H is aitch.

Some of these topics are real triggers of memories both good and bad bad. I was so afraid of my mum and dad. I loved them and my dad died suddenly when he was only sixty five. My mum relied a lot on my company after his death and still being in fear I was at her beck and call. When I became a grandmother she became very hurtful and I answered her back. She then more or less disowned me until my sister put her in a nursing home. The last four years of her life she did nothing. She gave up. I still visited her and told her I loved her. She died in January this year. Sorry for the ramble but this all came up with this topic. Thank you for reading if you do

I have a daughter who rides on shared bike ways, and she had an accident because a pedestrian who was walking two dogs spread out over both lanes and had headphones on and could not hear her repeated bell warnings. My daughter moved off the path and her wheel got caught in between the the path and the grass and she broke her ankle. So its not just the cyclists in the wrong.

Sometimes the old tried and true is the best thing. I think in our fascination with what is new and fancy we get caught up and forget that it has to reliably work. The new gadget is not useful if it is not reliable. My children call me an old fuddy duddy but I believe that everything exciting and new is not necessary.

"Everyone is keen to be seen as green...or appear to be green" (great moral stance and great for business). Unfortunately, plastics is used in everything from airplane windows to surgical tools, packing, in interstructure, etc. Limiting use of plastics would raise prices and force costly substitutions (which the 'consumer' will pay for in capitalism (as usual)). Death by plastics - hoist by our own petard - a fitting end for a lack of humanity shown by humans to other humans (La vie est une garce puis tu Meurs)!
