At a younger age, while I was still finding my feet - a glass bender. Yep, that was the job title. Worked nights in front of a very large and very hot rotating furnace kiln. We had long poles and we reached into the flames and placed flat sheets of glass onto the molded seats, they went around inside the kiln and then rotated back into view, perfectly melted, molded and shaped. We then took them out and placed them to cool off. It was quite complicated as there were 25 sheets of glass inside at any time. The molding seats came out with the glass and new seats had to be placed in and then new glass sheets had to be put onto them.5-man crew all working in harmony. If one man missed his task, then it would all stop. On a good night we would shape 2000 glass molded ceiling lights.

Lots of survey sites are now asking for photo ids (even ones that you have signed up a long time ago for). Their reasoning is "to prevent fraud/ensure payments go to the person who has done the surveys" and the ones I have seen all use 3rd party id verification which means the survey site do not see it or keep it but they verify with the survey site that you are you and your id is then deleted. Some older sites have introduced this when they have updated their payments so even though you may never have provided id to begin with, they then ask you for id in order to get your cash out (again, they say the reasoning is fraud prevention and to ensure who has earned the money is paid for it). Really annoying but what can you do other than accept or stop using the site/don't join.
