You get older and the realization that you will die one day starts to hit. You look back at your life and what did you do with it...sulk, sit depressed over the past. That truly is a life wasted. It always takes two to tango so when you say that you have been betrayed by your friends, family AND spouse then I'm sorry but you definitely contributed in some way. False memory is often instant especially for those who suffer trauma so no doubt the past you're remembering is not entirely accurate and more forcefully negative from your own presumptions. No person is ever so innocent that the world completely dominates them through no fault of their own. Like attracts like so start by focusing on your OWN actions and be the change you want to see in the world. If someone has betrayed you it's because you let them. Learn to be your own champion and put yourself first but be kind to others along the way without compromising your truest values. There are few true victims in society but by choosing to be one especially after so many years and not moving on you are not only actively creating a life of misery for yourself but you feed it to those around you making their lives harder and repeating the cycle. I had to except the fact that I had a Stroke. At age 39 I Stroked as my daughters and I were getting ready for the day. My daughers were only 12yrs and 7yrs old at the time. It did not happen right away, I was very angry, I spent 2 months in the Rehab Hospital. Every1 I knew except for 1 person avoided me like the plaque. After many years I finally gave in and excepted that I had Stroked, Im now a totally different person, but it took quite a few years for me to be where I am now. They do not know why I stroked, but I truly beleive that it saved my life. Without getting to much in to it, I was drinking all the time, getting into fights etc. I am now though a much happier person. I am now 62yrs old, and I do not think I would of made it this long if I was the same person I was right after I got out of rehab.

It's quite common in boys, My son was the same. Except we didn't have those in that sizing back then so it was bed liners and washing each day . There is a nasal spray that can help to slow things down, but basically in most cases it's simply hormonal,( the hormone responsible for concentrating the urine overnight is less present than it should be) and you will find once the 12yr mark kicks in or soon after ,. It will just stop. It's very frustrating I do remember ,but it's important not to let your child feel like it's an issue, They can't help it, It's not from trauma and it's not going to help restricting drinks before bed either. This is an easy one. Because I seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, after I awaken and freshen up, the first activity of every day for me is to read the Bible. That makes me a morning person.

I spent many years working as a Palliative Care nurse and in Aged Care situations as an RN. Assisted suicide is a normal part of end of life care for some and terminal sedation is a practice that has been practised for many years. I remember an incident in a public hospital I worked in, and we were warned not to discuss it, but it was more than a decade ago. An elderly man had very bad frontal lobe or Dewy Body Dementia. He was being cared for at home because he had been previously admitted to other Nursing homes in and around this area, but due to him flinging his fists around and utterly refusing personal care because he no longer understood what these strangers were doing to him, his physical health was suffering and they wouldn't have him back again. He wasn't getting nutrition, hydration and as he was doubly incontinent he was getting bad excoriation on his privates and the pain from this was causing more negative behaviour. He would refuse tablets and spit them out if the nurse DID manage to get them in his mouth and consequently he wasn't even getting the antipsychotics and calmatives he needed so he could recieve adequate care. So we have a human being who is just a mere shell of who he was, and that was an absolute creep as we remembered him from long ago, who's family could no longer cope, were out of resources and had ZERO other options for care. So the decision was made with his specialists, local GP and family to bring him into the hospital for terminal sedation. We were NOT obliged to care for him and we had the option to refuse to give the medication that would take him away from this earthly plane of existence. From my recollection it took about 72 hours for his heart to stop. He hadn't been the man he was for some time and his family had already grieved that loss some time ago. All there was now was relief and thankfulness that neither would suffer any longer. I'd be interested if anybody has a suggestion as to how THEY might have managed this situation if THEY had been this man's family. I suffer pain all the time and sometimes it's so bad that I wish it was all over. Nobody has the right to tell me that my suffering isn't bad enough to warrant me thinking of a permanent way out. I take painkillers but you become used to them after some time and the efficacy reduces. But people should be able to choose to end their lives on their own terms and we show animals that kindness. Why NOT humans who are suffering?

In my household growing up, the worse swear words were either "bloody" or "bastard" and I never swore back then. Since this useless Government came into power, my swearing started and has escalated and is now quite blue...... not going to give that up!

Absolutely Not! I get up when I want, go to bed when I want, eat what I want whenever I want, go where I want with whomever I want, and stay as long as I want. I do what I want with no time frame! What's boring about that? \ud83e\udd14 Yes, it is all about me, finally! \ud83d\ude02

That you can accomplish more than you originally thought possible when you commit to it and try your best.

We have found a few insurance companies renew policy's without instructions to do so. My concern is that they used an expired credit card and I have no idea how they managed that because not only would the expiry date have changed but another number of 3 digits would have changed also so your bank should have declined it. If it were me my first call would be to my bank to ask why they had approved the transaction, my second call would be to the Ombudsman because it isn't on. All the best.

As Karen said, on holidays my phone is for emergencies only - like the time we were in Darwin and we got the call saying our alarm had gone off at home in South Australia - security guard found a very large Huntsman spider sitting on one of the alarm sensors!

I talk to myself. I have been on some jobs in construction where talking to myself was the only way I could carry on an intelligent conversation.

Hi APB, we have a vacuum sealer & frozen food lasts so much longer when sealed this way. We have a great vege garden & we are fisherman, so have lots on hand in the freezer. It is also a good idea to have an infirmary of what is in the freezer. Our frozen food is also dated so we know to use the older food first.

my dad taught me be the reason someone smiles, and everything will look after itself, I believe that to be true I've had plenty of ups and downs[ who hasn't ] I live day by day week by week but I am extremely happy, I teach my grandkids the same create a smile where ever you can and be the best person you can be no matter the situation so far that is working out ok
